With the Coronavirus spreading across the world, people are taking extra measures and precautions in order to avoid getting the disease. Those who receive a positive test for coronavirus must self-quarantine for 14 days. In addition, anyone who comes in close contact with someone who tested positive for coronavirus has to self-quarantine for 14 days as well so the disease doesn’t spread.
As of June 13 (the deadline for this article), there have been nearly 13,011,549 cases and 570,702 deaths worldwide as a result of the Coronavirus Pandemic so far. No one, including celebrities, is immune from the disease.
As I said in my previous article “10 Notable Celebrities Who Have Tested Positive For The Coronavirus” (which was released when everyday life around the world shut down in March), when Actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson issued a statement on March 11 revealing that they both tested positive for the coronavirus, the couple became the first celebrities to go public with a diagnosis. After Hanks and Wilson came forward, many other high profile names who have contracted the Coronavirus have revealed to the public about their diagnoses as well.
All of the celebrities (including the ones featured in both my previous article and this one right here) who have publicly revealed that they tested positive for Coronavirus range from actors, singers, professional athletes, politicians and/or their spouses, royal family members, etc.
Now, with that being said, here are 12 More Celebrities Who Have Tested Positive For The Coronavirus:
On July 3rd, The New York Times reported that Kimberly Guilfoyle, the girlfriend of Donald Trump Jr. and Trump Campaign Official, tested positive for the coronavirus after attending the Trump rallies in Tulsa and in Phoenix and a Trump-related Mount Rushmore Fireworks Celebration in Mount Rushmore, South Dakota.
NBC News revealed that although Trump Jr. tested negative for the coronavirus, as a precaution, the President’s eldest child, “also [plans] to [self-isolate] and is canceling all public events.” the report stated. A day after the announcement, Guilfoyle tweeted “Thank you for all the well wishes and prayers! I feel good thanks be to God and look forward to a speedy recovery so I can resume working to re-elect @realDonaldTrump.”
The current No. 1 ranked Men’s Tennis Player in the world announced on June 23rd that he and his wife, Jelena, tested positive for the coronavirus. As CNN reported, the news came right after the 17-time Grand Slam Champion controversially played and partied on the Adria Tour, an exhibition event he helped organized in the Balkan region.
Along with Djokovic, it was also revealed that three other men’s tennis players who played on The Adria Tour also tested positive for the coronavirus. The three players in question were later identified as Croatia’s Borna Coric, Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov, and Serbia’s Viktor Troicki.

Lance Bottoms, who is also one of the top candidates that Joe Biden might select as his vice president, expressed that her positive test result was a complete “shock” as she and her husband were following all of the recommended precautions.
Another political figure who caught the coronavirus is Jair Bolsonaro, the President of Brazil. After months of infamously downplaying the coronavirus, Bolsonaro himself announced to Brazilian TV Channels that he tested positive for COVID-19.
In his address, Bolsonaro acknowledged the grave risks of the coronavirus, which he previously dismissed as a “little flu”, stating “We know the fatality of the virus for those of a certain age, like me, above 65, as well as for those with comorbidities, diseases, other issues. In those cases, the virus could be decisive and lead to death — everyone knew that,” he said.
On her “Quarantine Diary” IGTV Series, the legendary pop singer revealed on April 30th that she tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies. This meant that she has likely already been infected with the virus.
After much confusion surrounding her coronavirus diagnosis (several news headlines implied that she was still suffering from the disease), on May 6th, Madonna clarified in another Instagram post that she wasn’t sick at the current moment and that she had the coronavirus during the Paris leg of her Madame X tour. She also said that she didn’t know at the time of those concerts in Paris (she ended performing only one time in Paris as she called off one show due to “ongoing injuries” and forced to cancel the remaining two concerts after the French government banned large gatherings in early March).
On June 29, the one-time NBA All-Star, who currently plays for the Brooklyn Nets, announced on Twitter that he tested positive for the coronavirus the previous night. As a result of his coronavirus diagnosis, Jordan decided to opt out of the NBA Season Restart in Orlando, which is scheduled to resume on July 30.
The Good Morning America Anchor announced on the April 13th broadcast of GMA that he tested positive for the virus but was asymptomatic. The GMA Anchor shared that he “[At the moment, felt] great,” he said. “I’ve never had a fever, never had a cough, never had shortness of breath, never had chills, any of the classic symptoms you’ve been reading about.”
Stephanopoulos’s diagnosis came just two weeks after his wife, Comedian and Author Ali Wentworth, tested positive for the coronavirus. Unlike her husband, the coronavirus hit Wentworth differently, as she, according to an Instagram post, suffered from a “high fever, horrific body aches, and a heavy chest.” Wentworth also added that she had “never been sicker” in her life before she caught the coronavirus.
The singer posted a tweet (click on Part 1 and Part 2 to read Pink’s statement) on April 3rd revealing that she and her 3-year-old son Jameson (who, along with 10-year-old daughter Willow, she shares with husband Carey Hart) showed symptoms of COVID-19, but only she tested positive for the coronavirus. It was only a few days prior that she tested negative for the virus and fully recovered. In her tweets, the singer also heavily condemned the US Government’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.
After being taken to a hospital following a collapse (due to extreme exhaustion and dehydration) during a show in Nashville two days earlier, the actor and comedian revealed on June 21st that he tested positive for the coronavirus. Hughley expressed how shocked he was that he contracted the coronavirus, as he hadn’t suffered any classic symptoms related to COVID-19.
The Italian singer revealed on May 26th that he and his entire family recovered from the coronavirus after testing positive for the virus in early March. Bocelli shared the news with journalists when he and his wife went to a hospital in Pisa, Italy, to donate their antibody-rich plasma blood for COVID-19 Research, USA Today reported.
Bocelli’s diagnosis and recovery from the coronavirus came more than a month before his powerful “Music for Hope” Easter Concert at Milan’s Duomo Cathedral, which was held live without an audience and streamed across the world.
The former Bachelor contestant, who competed on Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season of The Bachelor in 2018, announced that she tested positive for the coronavirus in an April 1st Instagram post. In her post, Lunny, who was also Miss Massachusetts USA 2014 and represented the state at Miss USA 2014, emphasized to her followers the importance of staying home amid the global outbreak.
On July 2nd, Miss USA 1995 announced to her followers via Instagram Stories that she tested posted positive for the coronavirus the previous day and that her doctors believed that she was “around about day seven.” Moakler also added that her symptoms included “fever, chills, coughing, all kinds of stuff” but that “mostly [she’s] just really exhausted in a way [that she] can’t even describe.”
