10 Men Hair Trends To Try This Year

Alright gentleman, our hair is just as important as the ladies. If you are anything like me, your hair always has to look good and be freshly cut. If you are having trouble deciding what kind of hairstyle is for you, here is a list of 10 men hair trends to try this year!

1. The undercut

This hairstyle has been popular for a while now but I don’t see it going anywhere anytime soon. Many guys are rocking this look because it is easy, stylish, and most definitely on trend. The general definition of an undercut is having the hair on top of your head to be a decent length while having the hair on the sides and back of your head to be shaved. There are many ways to execute this hairstyle such as the classic undercut or the disconnected undercut, so I would recommend looking up some undercut hairstyles and deciding if it is for you. This is one of the most popular men hair trends of 2018!

2. Manbun

This trend took off last year and is still going strong. Men have caught on to the women’s long hair trend and want to have long luscious hair for themselves. To make this look a little more masculine, men usually wear their long hair up in a bun, generating the term “manbun”. If you have really thick or curly hair this trend may be a good look for you.

3. The shaved head

In the last year guys everywhere have started shaving there heads channeling Brad Pitt from about 13 years ago. Men are known for liking easy trends that take minimal effort, and what is more easy than having a shaved head! Having a shaved head really shows off a man’s bone structure and really makes a man look rouged and tough.

4. The classic part

A classic look will never get old and this trend is no different. Celebrities like Justin Timberlake are rocking this classic side part look that makes them look sleek and professional.  This look has been around for a long time but will never get old. This look takes a little bit of work and product but will make any man look sharp and clean.

5. Bleached

Women have been coloring their hair for years now, but not very many men have been brave enough to take that step. Well, that has finally stopped and men everywhere are bleaching their hair. Many men with different hairstyles have been trying this look and loving it. If you like the cut of your hair but want to spice things up a bit, here is a good option to change your look.

6. Crew cut

Similar to the shaved head look, the crew cut has been growing in popularity over the last year. This look is achieved by keeping the sides and back of your hair short and shaved while letting the top of your hair grow out a little but still keeping it short. This look is clean and fresh and easy.

7. French crop

Over the last year we have seen men more wiling to experiment with their hair. As a result we have seen men everywhere rocking more stylish and trendy haircuts. This look is achieved by keeping the side and back of your hair short while letting the top grow out a little bit and pushing it forward. You can add some product to the top portion for your hair to give it some texture and give it a bigger impact.

8. Pompadour

This looks is another classic look that easy to achieve with some product. To achieve this look let your hair grow out a little. Add some pomade to your hair to slick back the sides and push your hair back to create a nice bulge on top of your head. This looks is classic and packs a punch. You will be looking clean and stylish with this look.

9. Blowout

Voluminous hair for men is a growing trend and is expected to be a huge hit for this year. This look is easy to achieve but will take some work on your part. To achieve men hair trends like this, you will need medium length hair on the top and shorter hair on the sides. After your morning shower take a blow-dryer and dry your hair while brushing your hair up to create volume. To make sure the volume stays all day add some product, such as a pomade, to give that windswept look all day.

10. The quiff

As far as men hair trends go, this look has been around for a while but seems to remain popular. To achieve this look you need medium length hair on top and shorter hair on the sides. Using a blow-dryer push your hair up and back and then add some product to create an all-day quiff. To make this look even more trendy, you can pair the quiff with a low, mid, or high fade to add some impact and drama to your daily look.
