Memorial Day, one of America’s most loved federal holidays, is fast approaching. With it comes cookouts and drinks-endless drinks. Spruce up your beverage options with these great alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

This punch is made by slicing a large watermelon along the top and scoping out the inside of the watermelon and transferring into a blender where you will mix it until its smooth. Add 1 bottle of white wine, 2 c. white rum, 1 c. seltzer and 1/3 c. lime juice, stirring until they are fully combined. You can add slices of lime and fruit if you want to flare things up. Refrigerate until it is chilled and enjoy.
The best thing about this recipe is that you don’t have to add alcohol to it, making it a great drink for the kids too. In a large pitcher, you’ll combine a bottle of dry sparkling rose, 1 cup of vodka, 1 can of frozen lemonade, ½ cup of club soda, sliced strawberries and 3 sliced lemons. Chill for at least one hour. If you choose to make it without alcohol simply skip those steps.

In a punch bowl you’re going to stir water, ice, lemonade powder and grape juice concentrate, mixing well. Cut up slices of lemon and cucumber on top spruce up the drink. If you are feeling fancy, you can add frozen green grapes to the mix.
One that won’t have people running out of the water. This drink not only look pretty but taste just as great. In a cocktail shaker, pour in 1.5 ox of coconut rum, 3 oz. of pineapple juice, a splash of blue curacao and ice. Shake it for 20 seconds and pour over ice.
This drink is half sweet and half tart but one whole part delicious. You’ll start off by blending blueberries until they are smooth and crush in mint leaves. Stir in rum and lime juice, combining it with the blueberry mixture. Add the mixture over club soda and ice, stirring gently. Make it pretty with extra blueberries, lime and mint on top.

You’ll make this drink by crushing a strawberry with 4 dashes of peach bitters at the bottom of an old-fashioned glass and add one large ice sphere. Then you’ll shake 1 ½ oz. of American whiskey, 1 oz. of pineapple juice, ½ oz of Campari and ¼ oz of Strawberry syrup with ice and strain it into your glass.
Simple to make but still packing a great punch. Combine 1 ½ oz of Spiced Rum, ¾ oz Crème de Peche, ¾ oz lemon juice and 2 dashes of all spice dram in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and then strain it into an old-fashioned glass. You’ll top it off with 2 oz of Best Damn Cream Soda, an orange slice and voila, the Best Damn Porch Sipper for your Memorial Day festivities.
