These low cost holistic beauty remedies will help your skin, hair and health improve greatly. If you commit to continually using these beauty remedies you will feel great without breaking the bank on all of the face washes, hair and face masks, and system cleansers you can buy at the store.

1. Do a juice cleanse

Those green smoothies may not be the tastiest smoothie you can drink, but damn is it a good one. These power houses give you all the vitamins and minerals that you need. Sometimes it can get a little old constantly eating the same healthy foods. Like if you order one more salad you might explode. So why not suck it all down in one shot! This kale, spinach, arugula, cucumber, avocado and many various types of goods combo, helps your body absorb nutrients a lot easier and will make you feel great!

2. Exfoliate twice a week … AT LEAST

You shouldn’t exfoliate too much because you are putting yourself at risk for drying out your skin and making it raw. But exfoliating is so crucial to great skin. You have to scrub all the dead skin, dirt, and grime that collects on your face everyday off in order to wash and moisturize to have smooth, healthy, glowing skin. Better yet, exfoliating just the right amount will actually bring hydration to your face helping it to appear fuller.

3. Have more sex

This is one of the many beauty remedies you may not have really been looking for, but guess what? It’s true! Sex not only brightens up your mood and helps build confidence which already gives you a more radiance, but it has physical benefits as well! Sex improves your blood circulation pumping more oxygen throughout your body making your skin appear brighter. That’s right a sex glow is a real thing! Getting intimate also helps  eliminate toxins, regulate hormones, balance and control acne, and boost collagen! Getting lucky suddenly has a whole new meaning!

4. Vitamins

You want great hair naturally? This is how you do it. We don’t mean popping pills, although that works too. Sometimes we do not get all the vitamins we need even if we are eating healthy. However, you can get these without all the hair pills as well. Vitamins are one of the key beauty remedies to have great hair natural. The vitamins that produce hair growth the most are vitamin C and biotin. Both nutrients that are great for your skin as well as they boost collagen promoting faster growing and stronger hair. You can get vitamin C from foods like citrus, broccoli and spinach. Biotin can be obtained from eggs, nuts, berries, and some veggies. There are many other foods that have these much needed vitamins. Just a quick google search and you are on your way to naturally great skin and long and strong hair!

5. Reduce stress

This is one of the greats when it comes to beauty remedies and it’s free! Reducing stress greatly improves your hair, skin and overall health. Too much stress can cause high blood pressure, fatigue, anxiety, depression and is just overall bad for your health. This depletes the liveliness of your beauty. Sometimes it can be hard to de stress. No one is going to do all of your hard work for you! But, you do deserve a time out. Even if it is for 5 minutes. Try to take 30 minutes, at least, solely for you everyday to do something that will de stress you. Journaling and yoga are great de stressors, but even reading a book, watching one thing you enjoy on YouTube or a show you’re really into lately will help relive some stress and better your hair, skin and overall health!

6. Cool showers

I know we all love our showers so hot it feels like our skin could melt off. It’s like a nice warm hug before or after a long days work. But when you are washing your hair cool water is the way to go. Hot water dehydrates your hair causing it to be more brittle and more likely to fall out and break. When you are standing in the shower and washing your body you can use all the hot water you want, although, it does dehydrate your skin as well (don’t forget to moisturize!), but when you make your way to your hair turn down the temperature gage and turn up the hydration in your hair!

Coconut oil is one of the greats. It is a simple concentration that literally heals everything. Its one of the best beauty remedies that will make your skin and hair what you always desired it to be. Coconut oil can be used to reduce inflammation, help moisturize, heal wounds (yes that means acne!) and so much more. A plus? This  is all great for the skin too! But it has hair benefits!  The vitamins and essential fatty acids help promote the growth and strengthening of your hair. Make sure to wash it all out of your hair though so you don’t get greasy! Remember it is an oil!
