Located in the heart of Venice on Abbot Kinney, it’s a great place to grab a cup of coffee, get some work done, people watch, or all of the above. With skylight ceilings, wooden benches and tables, and grey concrete floors, Intelligentsia has a distinct, trendy vibe to it. This coffee shop is also open late on weekends, so it can be a fun place to hang with friends before going wherever else you plan to. This coffee shop lies on Santa Monica Boulevard in the heart of Santa Monica. And it’s pretty hard to miss; neon pink decor catches your eye as soon as you come close to it. Commissary offers free wifi and is dog friendly, so it’s a great place to get work done with a pet. The decor is evidently one of the best parts about this shop, but the coffee itself isn’t to be missed out on, either. Verve is located right on Melrose in the middle of West Hollywood; another great location for a coffee shop. With a minimalistic indoor area as well as an outside patio, there’s plenty of opportunity to people watch as well as get some work done. For those of you who don’t drink coffee, (not sure why you’d be reading this article… but anyways) they offer juice flights, so you can sample a number of drinks in one sitting. Pro tip: It’s also cute and incredibly aesthetically pleasing, so snap an Insta pic or two while you’re there. There’s free thirty minute valet parking with validation, or you can park in the surrounding neighborhood. Blue Bottle is located right smack in Downtown LA, so close to the Grand Central Market that you can enjoy your morning coffee with a sandwich from Eggslut (if you don’t know Eggslut and you live in LA; google it). Blue Bottle’s specialty is iced coffee, and customers rave about its New Orleans cold brew. The staff and service are welcoming and quick, and the interior is minimally decorated, cute, and clean.
