For those of you who don’t feel ready to jump to black lipstick, navy lip looks can be just as stark but without committing to an extremely dark lip color. Navy lips can also be great if you don’t particularly like the way black looks on you. It’s a good in-between color that’s still dark for contrast but not black.

Metallic lip looks are like the grown-up version of glitter lip looks. The shine is spread evenly and catches the light more than glitter. Metallic lipstick is a good option for people who want to shine but don’t like messy glitter or sticky lip gloss.

8. Beauty Mark

So this lip look isn’t technically on the lip but it is around it! It can still make your makeup stand out so we had to add it to the lip looks list. Adding a beauty mark to your upper lip makes a big statement. You’ll find that it entirely changes your look and it’s so easy! Just add a dot of your contour shade and you’re done!

9. Rhinestones

Most people wouldn’t wear rhinestones on their lips but that’s what will make your lip looks stand out! It’s not the most practical look but it’s definitely artistic. Get some rhinestones and play around with placement. You can cover your lips or place one in the middle of each lip like a piercing. There’s no right or wrong way to do it.

This is the undefeated champion right here! While you might think that you have to go over the top to make your makeup look stand out, you don’t! Clear lip gloss (when done well) gives your lips a plump, juicy, wet look that cannot be rivaled. Clear lip looks are natural, easy, and really hard to mess up. A clear lip gloss look is so sexy!
