To lose weight has become the average human’s life goal at some point in their lives. While Hollywood celebrities have been able to shed excess fat in days, the average individual can take up to months, maybe even years. Why? It can be a multitude of reasons including, stress, not enough time, bad habits or even not being able to find the right diet/ exercise plan for their individual self. For this reason, we have come up with a couple of ways for you to lose weight everyday by changing the little things you do.
The easiest way to lose weight is to walk more in your everyday life. This can be by taking the stairs, or even choosing a longer commute to work and/or home. Walking is a great form of exercise and sometimes can be the only exercise one endures if they have a busy schedule. The idea is to stay away from elevators and escalators or even ramps. Push yourself and take the stairs or walk around a building so you won’t use the elevator. You may be out of breath, but the more you do it the less out of breath you will feel.
Everyone knows about the water hack to lose weight. If not, the idea is to drink one bottle of water before each meal and/or if you ever feel hungry. Our body needs water to function, and actually depends more on water than it does on food. Water not only boosts our metabolism but it also flushes out the bad toxins in our body that have not exit our system yet. When I began my journey of losing weight, the majority of my success was due to drinking more water than I did before. I did this by making myself a deal. I love coffee and need at least 2 cups a day. Therefore, I only allowed myself a cup of coffee if I had one bottle of water after to balance it. Needless to say, this self-deal has helped me a lot.
There are recent arguments in the media of whether snacking is beneficial to lose weight. The idea of snacking dates back to the notion that eating every 3-4 hours will help boost your metabolism. If you do get hungry easily and water doesn’t help decrease the hunger, you should grab something less heavy. Some good healthy snack ideas include a handful of berries, a banana or a handful of nuts. Remember, you simply want to satisfy the hunger for a little while before your next meal, you don’t want to replace your next meal.
Being positive and laughing have also proven to help lose weight. According to health specialists, laughing for 10-15 minutes everyday can help you burn approximately 40 calories. The easiest way to accomplish this little activity is to watch a funny movie/tv show. Another fun activity that can help you with this feat is to spend time with friends who make you feel happy. By doing so, you can laugh away your calories and spend time with your close friends. The best part is that you don’t even need to try hard to lose weight with this hack. What better way to lose weight than not trying at all!
Listening to your body is an easy way to lose weight. Simply put, only eat or drink water when you feel hungry. A lot of people will eat excessive amounts of food because they are not listening to when their body is telling them it is hungry and needs fuel. You don’t have to eat because everyone else is eating or it is dinner time and you should be eating. Your body doesn’t work that way. Only eating food when you feel hungry is a great way to cut back on excess eating.
