Lazy Day Hairstyles Any Girl Can Look Great In

Second-day hair say what?! We all know that washing your hair every single day isn’t good. It prevents natural oils from releasing. Most times, second-day hair results in lazy day hairstyles. It’s hard to come up with different ones. Getting ready in the morning takes time which is something most people don’t have. Letting that alarm clock go till the very last second is some peoples specialty.

Yes, you can throw your hair in a ponytail and call it a day but that can be boring. There are so many ways to spice up your hair. None of these require heat and can be done rather quickly. No one has time to spend 30 minutes curling their hair to perfection.

1. Braids

Braids take practice but that doesn’t mean they can’t be a lazy hairstyle. Doing a little one in the front to push back bangs or having a long one down the back is an easy way to get your hair out of your face, it’ll stay all day long and doesn’t take much time at all. If you aren’t a braid master, don’t worry. YouTube has hundreds of videos with braid tutorials. Each night, spend a couple of minutes practicing. It’ll pay off in the long run when you can do a braid that looks like it took effort in less than five minutes.

2. Head Scarfs

These are amazing. If you need something quick and easy, try a head scarf around the top of your head. Leave the bottom pieces hanging out, add a pair of dangling earrings and head out the door. Head scarfs can dress up any look and there are so many on the market right now. They will cover up that greasy second-day hair as well, making this one a bonus. Match them to your outfits for an extra spark of style.

3. Messy Bun

The infamous messy bun. These can take a couple times to master but they truly take little to no time to accomplish in the morning. Messy buns can be worn with any type of look. If you are going into the office, a messy bun will be fine. If you are going to the gym, do a messy bun. They are versatile. Add in a couple pair of hoop earrings to give an edgy look. Messy buns are all-around great go-to hairstyles that anyone can achieve.

4. Half Up/Half Down

There are so many ways to do a half-up, half-down hairstyle. Grab a cute scrunchie and gather the top half of your hair. Make it into a bun, a pony tail or even a braid and secure it with a cute hair tie. It goes with any outfit and looks good on everyone. Whether you have short, long, curly or straight hair, this hairstyle is perfect for a lazy day.

5. Wear a Hat

The easiest of them all! Hats are a major trend this season and you are going to be seeing them everywhere. If you need to run out of the house quickly or just aren’t feeling like putting effort into your hair, cover it up with a stylish hat. That can be a baseball cap or maybe a fedora (yes, I said fedora). You’ll look put together regardless if you really are or not.

Lazy day hairstyles are a go-to. Everyone has those mornings where spending time on hair is just a big fat no. I know I’d rather spend it sleeping in a couple extra minutes or stopping at Starbucks before heading to work. Tell us your favorite hairstyle for lazy days in the comments below.
