Fudge might not be best for a day outside, but if you are having an indoor party or just staying with family, this is the perfect recipe to try! Add chocolate, butterscotch, and sweetened condensed milk and heat in the microwave. Then add the vanilla extract and pour it into a pan. This will need to cool in the refrigerator. It is great for preparing in advance and having a simple dessert ready for your festivities. Then, when it is time for dessert, all you have to do is cut them into squares and you will be ready to go!
These fairy bread roll-ups are the perfect dessert for someone who loves sugar but is also very lazy in the kitchen. All you need is cream cheese, sugar, white bread, and sprinkles, and you will be all set. Flatten out your bread, with the crust cut off, and spread the cream cheese and sugar, mixed together, on top. Cover them or put a light amount, depending on your preference, of sprinkles on top of this and roll them up. They are the perfect dessert to make if you forgot dessert, or just procrastinated until the last minute!
For this twist on a strawberry cheesecake, you will need strawberry puree, cream cheese, cool whip, powdered icing sugar, crushed graham crackers, and strawberries. You will be mixing all the ingredients together except for the graham crackers and cool whip. Put the graham crackers at the bottom of a glass jar, pour the mixture on top, and refrigerate overnight. Then, on Labor Day, top with strawberries and cool whip and you’re all set!
Having dip for one of your Labor Day desserts is a sure way to please all your guests. For this five minute dip, you will need mayonnaise, bacon bits, slivered almonds, green onions, and shredded cheddar cheese. Combine all these ingredients and refrigerate for at least two hours. It is the perfect dessert to make ahead of time when you are decorating or cleaning up your place before your friends and family arrive. When your guests arrive, all you have left to do is set it out with some crackers and chips and your dessert is ready to go!
Popsicles are one of the classic Labor Day desserts that will be a guaranteed success amongst your friends because who wouldn’t want a popsicle to cool off on a hot day? All you need are kiwis and strawberries (of course, you could use your favorite fruit instead.) Blend the kiwi and pour it into a popsicle mold and freeze for an hour. Then, blend the watermelon and pour it on top of the kiwi, which shouldn’t be entirely frozen at this point. Put the popsicle molds in the freezer and take out when frozen! This dessert is perfect for someone who is making a lot of food or decorations and needs time in between every other task they are preparing.
For this delicious oreo dip, you will need cream cheese, butter, whipped cream, powdered sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and crushed Oreos. All you need is a mixer to combine all of these ingredients together but wait on the Oreos. The Oreos can be stirred in by hand so they won’t be crushed up too much. Serve with any cracker or chip you like, or even add some Oreos to the dish for your guests to choose from. Putting this dip out at any Labor Day party is sure to be a success amongst your guests!
