Acai bowls are the delicious, and very healthy, breakfast bowls that all of the California girls are currently obsessing over. The dark purple acai berries, which come from rainforests in Brazil, are rich in antioxidants, fiber, and protein, and are a great source of heart healthy fats. The acai berries are extremely healthy to eat, and can be purchased at your local grocery store in the form of juices, puree packets, and powder. These bowls are packed with the acai smoothie, granola, fresh berries and honey on top, to make the most delicious breakfast and/or snack to get you through the day. 1. The Classic Acai Bowl (Typical Brazilian Bowl Mix)

The classic acai bowl mix, also known as the typical Brazilian bowl mix, is a combination of frozen acai berry pulp with guarana syrup. (If you can’t find guarana syrup in your local grocery store, you can replace it with some honey). Add  favorite granola, slices of banana, strawberries and blueberries to create the perfect toppings for your bowl. This is one of the best acai bowl recipes!

2. Tropical Acai Bowl

If you are craving an acai bowl, but want a sweeter flavor, then the tropical acai bowl is perfect for you! Blend together the frozen acai berry pulp and add mango, pineapple and banana chucks to create the perfect tropical flavor. Add some granola and fruit of your choice on top to finish it off! (I suggest adding more pineapple and mango on top, but you can also add strawberries, bananas, and blueberries too).

3. Peanut Butter Acai Bowl

This acai bowl is perfect for all of you peanut butter lovers out there! All you have to do to make this peanut butter breakfast is blend together an acai mix, frozen bananas, strawberries and blueberries, with a big spoonful of peanut butter. Depending on how much flavor of peanut butter you want, will identify how many spoonfuls of peanut butter to add. Top it off with another scoop of peanut butter, your favorite berries and some granola to make for the most delicious, peanut butter filled acai breakfast! 4. Raspberry Acai Bowl

This acai bowl makes for the most delicious and refreshing breakfast bowl. The combination of the acai berries, plus raspberries and a banana make for the perfect sweet and creamy blend. Add more raspberries, some granola, chocolate chips and a dash of peanut butter for a delicious breakfast.

If you are a fan of acai berries and coconut, then you have to try this acai bowl recipe. All you have to do is blend together the frozen acai berry pulp with a banana and fresh coconut water or coconut milk. Add granola, strawberries, bananas and extra coconut on top for the perfect coconut acai bowl combination!

6. Pumpkin Granola Acai Bowl

If you are looking for a fall inspired acai bowl recipe, you have to try this one! To create this fall inspired breakfast, blend together the frozen acai berry packet, with frozen purple grapes, a banana and an apple. Next, make your own pumpkin flavored granola to create the fall inspired flavor. The granola does take some time to bake, however, it is worth it! The sweet acai base, along with the pumpkin flavored granola and your favorite berries on top makes for the perfect fall inspired acai bowl.

7. Greek Yogurt Acai Bowl

Instead of adding juice or milk to your acai bowl, you can also add greek yogurt to make the most delicious greek yogurt acai bowl. All you have to do is blend together a frozen acai berry packet, with a frozen banana, berries, greek yogurt, and a dash of apple juice. This mixture will create a much thicker smoothie blend, but it will still taste amazing. Add your favorite berries, granola, chia seeds and almonds on top. Enjoy!

8. Summer Acai Bowl

If you are a fan of the Tropical acai bowl recipe, then you should try this summer inspired acai bowl. It is very similar to the tropical blend and has a very similar flavor. To create the acai base, blend together a frozen acai berry packet, with milk, frozen berries, cherries, pineapple, mango, and soft dates. Add your favorite granola on top, or if you are feeling adventurous, try this toasted buckwheat granola, along with some berries, honey and sliced almonds.

Next, make the acai bowl base, using your favorite acai recipe. The traditional blend tastes best with this breakfast combo, but make whatever you think will taste best! If you like pistachio, or are in the mood to try something knew, make the pistachio cream. When all of that is finished, add the acai blend into the warm porridge. Drizzle the pistachio cream on top, and add your favorite berries, granola, and nuts. Add honey for more flavor. Enjoy!
