The June Album Releases You Need To Listen To
Summer is (nearly) here, and with the new month and a new season, there is also new music. This month’s new music includes everything from rock and metal to country and pop. There is something being released for everyone to enjoy. Here are the new June album releases you need to hear!
1. Kanye West
Kanye’s latest album, ye, is his eighth studio album. The EP, which is also known as The Spiritual Awakening, was recorded from April to May of this year and contains seven tracks. The album was released on June 1. Nicki Minaj and other artists make guest appearances on the album.
2. Ghost
Swedish heavy metal band, Ghost, released Prequelle on June 1. The album is the band’s fourth studio album and has been praised for being eclectic. Prequelle is available digitally across multiple platforms as well as physically via the band’s website. The band, known for their on-stage costumes, toured the United States in May to promote the album.
3. Dave Matthews Band
The Dave Matthews Band, a rock band from Virginia, will release their newest album, Come Tomorrow, on June 1. The album will be available for purchase digitally and physical copies have various merch bundle options through the band’s website. The band will also be on tour this summer.
4. Dierks Bentley
Country music star, Dierks Bentley, is set to release his latest album on June 8. The Mountain will be available digitally and in physical form and is Bentley’s ninth studio album. The album will feature collaborations with Brothers Osbourne and Brandi Carlile. This is definitely one of the June album releases you need to listen to!
5. Lily Allen
English singer-songwriter Lily Allen’s fourth studio album, No Shame, will be released on June 8. The album will be available for streaming across digital platforms as well as on CD and vinyl. Allen released songs, including “Family Man,” online in preparation for the album release.
6. Sugarland
Country band Sugarland will release Bigger, their sixth album, on June 8. The album will be released digitally and on CD and vinyl. This is the duos first album since taking a hiatus to work on solo projects.
7. 5 Seconds of Summer
Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer’s Youngblood will be released on June 15. The album will be available in physical form on CD, LP, and cassette as well as digitally. This is the band’s third studio album.
8. Christina Aguilera
Pop singer Christina Aguilera, known for her song, “Genie in a Bottle,” will release Liberation on June 15. This is Aguilera’s eighth studio album. The album will be released digitally as well as on physical formats here.
9. The English Beat
The English Beat will release their latest album, Here We Go Love, on June 15. The band is a London-based punk rock band that formed in Birmingham in 1978. Their latest album is the band’s fifth studio album.
10. Panic! At The Disco
American rock band, Panic! At The Disco, will release their latest album on June 22. The album is called Pray for the Wicked, which is the same name as their tour, which begins on July 11. This is the band’s sixth album. It will be released across digital platforms and in various physical formats.
