A 3 Day Itinerary For New York City

New York City. The Big Apple. The City that Never Sleeps. There’s a lot to see in New York and with only three days spent in the concrete jungle, it can be daunting trying to navigate and squeeze it all in! Here is an easy to follow and jam-packed 3-day itinerary for New York City. Have fun!

DAY 1

1. Breakfast

Start the day off at Bluestone Lane Café. A favourite among New Yorkers and coffee connoisseurs, making it the perfect place to fuel up before a day of exploring.

2. Get Lost in Central Park

Begin your New York trip in Central Park. Relax, bring a picnic, learn and visit some iconic sites. From the Bethesda Terrace and Fountain to the Metropolitan Museum of Art which be found on the edge of Central Park.

3. Top of the Rock

Catch a glimpse of New York from a different perspective. There is nothing quite like the view from the top of the Rockefeller Centre!

4. Dinner

Check out the Flatiron Building and Madison Square Park where you can relax in a calmer oasis and taste the most wanted burger in New York at the Shake Shack.

5. Take in the Lights at Times Square

No trip to NYC would be complete without a visit to Times Square. Finish your first night here and grab tickets to see a Broadway show!

DAY 2

6. Breakfast

Hit Jacks Wife Freda for your second New York breakfast. Their array of colourful dishes always makes the explore pages on Instagram. Get the Rosewater Waffle topped with Lebanese yoghurt, mixed berries and honey syrup. We love it!

7. Shopping Spree in SoHo

SoHo is one of the City’s most eclectic shopping districts, offering everything from designer boutiques and one-of-a-kind shops to vintage bargain emporiums. Treat yourself!

8. Washington Square Park

Escape the hustle and bustle of Soho and head to Washington Square Park. An iconic venue in NYC! Relax in the fountain on a hot day or watch locals battle each other in a game of chess. Afterwards, take a walk to the iconic Friends Apartment and Carrie Bradshaw’s’ infamous steps – the perfect Instagram spots!

9. Walk The High Line

Once a rail track, the High Line is now an elevated park that you can enjoy. Walk along, people watch, take in the sights and grab a bite of pizza. Hop off at Chelsea Market to enjoy the independent brands and food on offer at the famous establishment.

10. Dinner

Grab dinner at The Meat Ball Shop – a joint dedicated to, you guessed it – Meatballs! Choose your meat, sauce and pasta! The perfect place to relax, eat and have fun. The perfect place to eat on our 3-day itinerary for New York City.

12. Walk Along The Brooklyn Bridge

An iconic and magnificent sight that cannot be missed on any visit to NYC. Stroll along taking in the city’s skyline – a perfect way to start your last day in NYC.

13. Staten Island Ferry

A great (and free way!) to enjoy the New York City skyline. Hop on the ferry to Staten Island and explore the neighbouring borough.

14. New York at Sunset

A 3-day trip to NYC should be rounded off with a view from the Freedom Tower. Head up during golden hour to catch the skyline in a different light – stay up for sunset to see New York lit up in all its glory.

15. Dinner

For your last dinner in New York, head to Le District next to Battery Park. Enjoy a wonderful meal with the Hudson river and the Statue of Liberty as your back drop. What better way to end an incredible 3 days?
