Also, it’s best to purchase foods that aren’t perishable, unless you have a cooler and an easy access to ice.
There is nothing better than a cold shower! Even with a generator, you might not always be able to take a warm bath or shower. If you want to try and avoid a cold shower, then waterless shampoo and body wipes might be your saving grace. It’s important to gas up your car before a hurricane hits. There is always the potential for a mandatory evacuation, so prepare you car for that option.
