Is It Okay For A Woman To Ask A Man Out First?
Is it okay for a woman to ask a man out first? Dating and relationship history shows that the way courting someone goes, is always by a man being the one to ask a woman out on a date first. And if a woman was to even think about asking a man out, she would be viewed as being overly-aggressive or desperate.
Though this current generation and millennials are more evolved and direct in their approach, asking someone on a date is still viewed as the man should be the one doing the asking. And a woman is still viewed as either being overly-aggressive or desperate, which in today’s term, is referred to as being or acting “thirsty”.
There honestly is nothing wrong with a woman asking a man out on a date yet it’s low-key frowned upon.
Why is that though? The new age woman is all about being a fierce conqueror, being direct and taking what she wants! Why wouldn’t asking a man out be included in that?
If a woman is interested in a man, she should most certainly go and ask that man out on a date.
And she should most certainly not be considered as being overly-aggressive or thirsty! She knows what she wants, and she’s going to get it! The worst that can happen is that the man rejects her, which most likely won’t happen because most men are easy :shrugs shoulders:
We have got to get out of this old way of thinking that a man needs to be the one to do the most when it comes to the beginning stages of dating and even being in an actual relationship.
Everything should be 50/50; whether it’s asking each other out on dates or buying “just because” gifts.
So again I say, YES, it is perfectly okay for a woman to ask a man out first!
