5 Instant Ramen Recipes You Can Make In Your Dorm

If you’re a broke college student like me, you know that Instant Ramen is a perfectly acceptable, nutritious, well-rounded and affordable meal for any time of the day. Perhaps, you even eat Instant Ramen pretty often (in order to save up for all those steak dinners, of course.) Well, if you’re sick of eating the same old Instant Ramen Noodle packet 5 days a week, you’ve come to the right place. Here are 5 ways you can instantly upgrade your Ramen Noodles and make them that. much. more. delicious. All you need is your Ramen packet, a microwave and any of the following ingredients! Check out these yummy Instant Ramen recipes: 

1) Broccoli Cheddar

What You Need: 

  • Ramen & Seasoning Packet
  • Frozen, microwavable Broccoli
  • Shredded Carrots
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Cook the Ramen and set aside. Quickly stir in shredded carrots and cheddar cheese so it melts while your Ramen is hot! Microwave your broccoli until it’s tender and mix into your ramen.

2) Pad Thai

What You Need:

  • Ramen & Seasoning Packet
  • Frozen Veggies (mixed bag of peas, carrots, corn)
  • Pad Thai Sauce
  • Peanuts
  • Peanut Butter
  • Lime

Cook the Ramen and set aside. Quickly stir in 1 teaspoon of peanut better until melted. Microwave your frozen veggies until tender and stir into Ramen. Add 1 tablespoon of Pad Thai sauce. Ground up 1/4 cup of peanuts and stir in. Cute up a lime and squeeze on top1

3) Stir Fry

What You Need: 

  • Ramen & Seasoning Packet
  • Frozen veggies (mixed bag of peas, carrots, corn)
  • Soy Sauce
  • Hard Boiled Egg

Cook the Ramen and set aside. Microwave your frozen veggies until tender and stir into Ramen. Stir in 1 teaspoon of soy sauce (or more!) and add your hard boiled egg!

4) Chili Cheese Dog

  • Hot Dogs
  • Chili Powder
  • Cheddar Cheese

Cook the Ramen and set aside. Quickly stir in cheddar cheese while it’s hot! Microwave a hot and cute it up into bites. Add to Ramen. Mix in 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder.

5) Coconut Curry

What You Need: 

  • Ramen & Seasoning Packet
  • Coconut Milk
  • Curry Powder
  • Coconut Flakes

Cook Ramen and set aside. Stir in 1/3 cup of coconut milk. Stir in 1 teaspoon of curry powder. Lastly, stir in 1/4 cup of coconut flakes. Add more to the top if desired!
