The 5 Incredible Mocktail Companies You Have To Try Right Now

Tired of sugary, pink cocktails? Reached your Zoom cocktail hour limit? Trying to just be healthier in general? Regardless of why you’re not drinking, you deserve a delicious, healthy, and sophisticated alternative. Club soda and lime used to be the answer, but now there are far more complex and flavorful options! We’ve made a list of our five favorite mocktail and alcohol-free liquor companies that are delicious and good for you. Unlike alcoholic drinks, these euphorics work with your body and brain through various combinations of botanicals, adaptogens, and nootropics. Because whether you’re celebrating or winding down, there’s nothing like a wonderful drink to make you slow down and feel better.

1. Curious Elixers

Curious Elixers is a fabulous company that makes delicious, chilled mocktails with no added sugar. All their drinks are hand made in small batches from organic herbs, spices, roots, barks, and juices. They are complete with ancient botanicals and adaptogens that encourage a very light, happy feeling by quite literally increasing serotonin, dopamine, and circulation. They are well crafted, lightly carbonated, and very fresh in flavor.

They are also one of the most affordable options, with their Curious Cocktail Club (subscription order) being $29 for 4 bottles (each bottle gives about 5-6 drinks in a small cocktail glass with ice). That comes out to each drink being about $1.20 (which is crazy when you think about the $20 cocktails you’ve ordered at bars). You can also do a one-time order, no subscription necessary (though after trying it you might change your mind). They currently have five different flavors, and are always adding new ones! You’ll find yourself coming back for more, and more, and more.

2. Seedlip Spirits

This special liquor is one of the most unique, flavorful, and sophisticated options on the market. Seedlip Spirits are non alcoholic liquors distilled from herbs using a small copper still. Started by a farmer who was served a pink, sugary drink when he ordered a mocktail at an upscale restaurant, Ben Branson became determined to create the first, non alcoholic liquor that was sophisticated, paired well with nice food, and good for you.

Initially, he only sold it to restaurants, but his first batch sold out in three weeks, his second batch in three days, and his third batch in thirty minutes online. Branson has since expanded his tiny copper still and now sells straight to consumers so people like you and me get to enjoy his delicious creations!

He makes three different types. The first is Seedlip Garden 108, “A fresh, herbal blend of Peas & traditional garden herbs including Rosemary, Thyme & Spearmint”. The second is Seedlip Grove 42, “A sophisticated, bright, citrus blend of Mediterranean Orange, Lemon Peel, Lemongrass and Ginger with a dry finish”. The third is Seedlip Spice 94, ” a warm, aromatic blend of Allspice & Cardamom with fresh citrus top notes to balance the long bitter finish.” All three taste exactly as Seedlip describes and are incredible and satisfying in their own way.

Pricing wise, each bottle (a good size might I add) is $32- a steal in my opinion. You can get all three for $89 but make sure to use the code WELCOME10 for 10% off! Seedlip also has a wonderful little mocktail book to try with all three of their liquors, which I love because each liquor is so unique it’s lovely to have a little book of ideas to try each one in various, delicious ways!

3. Recess

Recess is the perfect mocktail for getting work done. The name itself is inspired to help you take a break and find some focus. How many times have you poured yourself a drink to enjoy with a little end of night work, only to find your head getting increasingly fuzzy? Or had a latte, or soda, or cookie midafternoon only to find yourself more wired than focused? Now you don’t have to choose between a drink or being cranked up on caffeine and sugar. This light, fizzy mocktail is the perfect drink for staying calm, focused, and creative.

Recess is a combination of sparkling water, real fruits, spices, hemp extract, American ginseng, L-theanine, lemon balm, and adaptogens. They have so many different flavors from blood orange to blackberry chai. Each one has such depth in flavor- my personal favorite is peach ginger. It’s juicy and light, and gives me this mellow buzz that puts me in a perfect work flow.

Pricing is pretty good too! At $26.99 for a six-pack it’s $4.99 per drink, or at $49.99 for a twelve-pack it’s $4.16 per drink. It’s more than the others on this list, but when you think about how much you’re willing to spend for a single latte or drink at a bar it’s still a great price. Work with your mind and body to stay in the zone for your next great project with this wonderfully, delicious mocktail.

4. Ritual Zero Proof

Ritual Zero Proof is an “I can’t believe it’s not the real thing” labor of love. It’s a darling company created by a couple and their best friend. They are chefs, foodies, and world travelers. They worked tirelessly to create an alcohol-free product that smelled, tasted, burned like the real thing.

Made from an array of botanicals, spices, and roots- and weighing in at only 10 calories for 1.5 ounces- you can enjoy all kinds of classic cocktails without the alcohol, calories, or hangover. They have three different liquors- whiskey, gin, and tequila. I personally am a whiskey girl and just love the warm, caramel notes in their whiskey.

Another plus? Each liquor is super affordable. At only $26.99 per bottle (and they are very good size bottles), you get the quality and taste of a $200 liquor with all the added health benefits of the alcohol-free version. You can make an endless array of mocktails from their incredible selection, or just enjoy it on the rocks because it tastes so good!

5. Kin Euphorics

Kin Euphorics is another very unique mocktail company. Designed to “elevate the spirit and relax the body”, each drink is crafted with a unique combination of botanicals, adaptogens, and nootropics to give you a delightful buzz that’s 100% good for your body and mind.

They have three different versions, each with a different purpose. The first is “Kin Spritz”, a sparkling mocktail created with fresh citrus, warm spice, hibiscus, and ginger. It’s mixed and ready so you can get down to party! It features their second drink, “High Rhode” liquor, which is is tart, herbaceous, floral, and designed to make you feel elevated and social. It needs to be mixed with something- I personally love it with orange sparkling water, fresh lemon juice, and a dab of agave. Their third drink is “Dream Light”, which is earthy, smoky, and meant to be mixed with something creamy. I love making a creamy nightcap on ice with it using oat milk and a little bit of stevia.

Pricing wise Kin Eurphorics is the highest on this list, with each bottle of “High Rhode” or “Dream Light” at $39 and their “Kin Spritz” premixed mocktail at $47 for an eight pack, at $5.88/ drink. I signed up for a subscription to get $5 off and just cancelled before the next shipment. The bottles and premixed cans are on the smaller side for the price so it’s not something I keep stocked all the time, but it’s a lovely occasional treat. Each option is unique, flavorful, and makes you feel wonderful!

Which mocktail do you plan on trying first? We can’t wait to hear what you end up trying as you treat your body and mind to one of these delicious concoctions!
