I’m 21, A Bartender, And My Sugar Daddy Venmos Me This Much A Month…

Being a bartender, you hear a lot of stories that usually seem too good to be true. It’s hard to tell if a person over 5 shots in is exaggerating or telling the truth. One Friday night, we were a little slower than usual at the bar and that’s when I caught wind of the sugar baby world. A young girl, probably around 25, was telling her friend all about the $8,000 dollar bag her sugar daddy had bought her. Interested, I got closer and continued to listen to her talk about the thousands of dollars in gifts she receives each month and the glamorous trips she gets to go on. That was what sparked my interest in that lifestyle.

Later that night, I went home and did my research. Before I knew it, I had created an account on Arrangements. Never did I think that 6 months later I would be getting Venmoed $10,000 dollars a month.

Going into being a sugar baby, I knew I needed to set ground rules for myself. I let all of the men I go on dates with know these rules to make sure that I am never uncomfortable.

My first date with a sugar daddy was definitely nerve-racking, but I was surprised by how fun it ended up being. I didn’t want *Jeff to know where I lived, for safety reasons, so he picked me up a few blocks away. I truthfully was expecting an Uber, but he pulled up in a Rolls Royce and I was blown away. Here I am, a 21 year old college student, bartending to make enough cash to meet rent, being picked up in a Rolls Royce. He took me on a date to one of the fanciest restaurants in the city, which I could never afford to go to, and we talked for hours. I was surprised by how easy it was to talk to him. Jeff was 35 years old and my date with him solidified just how fun and interesting being a sugar baby could be.

I continued to go on more and more dates and really started to see the benefits. Being a sugar baby became a second job for me. The dates I was going on were purely monetary and for gifts. I was open with these men and let them know that I wasn’t interested in having sex. Until I met Jake.

Jake was the 5th sugar daddy that I began dating. He is 45 years old and recently got divorced. At first, me and Jake were going on dates twice a week. Then, it became 3-4 times a week. In the beginning, we would go to nice restaurants and I would be his date to different work events. The more I saw Jake, the more connected we became. One day, Jake asked me to take a trip to a vacation home he had in Miami. We had been going on dates for 3 months and I felt really comfortable with him. So, I decided to go.

We had a nice dinner and went back to his suite pretty late. I was supposed to sleep in his bed, while he slept on the couch. His suite was completely open and from the top of the stairs I looked down to see him laying shirtless on the couch. I don’t know what got into me, but I went down stairs and he sat up in surprise. I sat in his lap and that was the first night I slept with a sugar daddy. There was something about being with Jake that made it feel right.

After our trip ended, we met up for dinner and discussed that we wanted to keep our relationship the way it was. If it becomes something serious in the future, we can talk about it then. Jake is the only sugary daddy that I am sexual with and I am going to keep it that way. I have been with him for 4 months now and for the last two months I have been Venmoed $10,000, a month, to pay for my loans, rent, and any other expenses I may have. I still continue to have side dates where I make anywhere from $2,000-$4,000 in gifts and cash.

There are a lot of negative stereotypes surrounded around being a sugary baby. It has been a rewarding experience for me so far. I have met some amazing men who have given me networking connections, life-lessons, and a lot of money. I plan on continuing being a sugary baby until I graduate from college.
