How You Should Decorate Your Room Based On Your Zodiac

Interior decorating can sometimes turn into a chore when it should be anything but. The key is to create a space that corresponds to your mood and personality perfectly. Decorating your room births self-expression and zeal, and what better way to self-express than by choosing decor and color schemes based on your zodiac sign? Here are our suggestions for how you should decorate your room based on your zodiac sign!

1. Aries (March 21 – April 19)

Aries is known to be a passionate, motivated, and confident leader. The bold ram tends to lean towards being uncomplicated and direct, so decor that is both bold and practical would be favored by an Aries. Aries are drawn to red shades, from cherry red to a nice ruby red. So incorporate a touch of red to surroundings.

2. Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

A Taurus appreciates a serene surrounding and material pleasures. They are known to be sensuous, affectionate, and patient. Being represented by the bull, a Taurus is drawn to earthy browns, various shades of greens, along with white and blue, pink and green pastels. A great way for a Taurus to decorate their room is with accents of reclaimed wood and faux-furs.

3. Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Associated with youth and versatility, Gemini’s are known to be fun-loving, communicative, and intelligent. Gemini’s appreciate geometric shapes and love patterns and prints. This sign has no problem mixing and matching with their adaptability ability, so a room filled with a variety of colors and beautiful prints are right up this twin sign’s alley. 

4. Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

Nurturing by nature and the pioneer of feeling, Cancers are often associating family and domesticity. This water sign is imaginative and romantic and is inclined to soft shades. Cancers tend to be attracted to what are known as “moonlight hues.” These are shades ranging from light grey, creams, silver, and pearl. 

5. Leo (July 23 – August 22)

This fire sign is bold and proud, expressive and ambitious. This sign is associated with colors that would encompass the thriving summer season. A Leo would be drawn to a room decorated with gold, reds, oranges, and yellows. Bold, loud and proud colors are perfect for this lion.

6. Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

Known to be diligent, analytical, self-sufficient, and controlling, Virgos can come off as a bit of a perfectionist. Their sign is associated with purity and service which can be apparent in their decor. This sign is drawn to geometric shapes along with shades ranging from white to muted natural colors like wheat gold, forest green, beige, indigo, and soft primary colors.

7. Libra (September 23 – October 22)

This air sign is one of style, refinement, and a lover of beauty, art, cultural, and sophistication. Attracted to shades of blue such as cobalt, cerulean or ultramarine, Libras will enjoy decor in their room that taps into intellectualism and aesthetic.

8. Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

Passion, power, and intensity are what one can find in the Scorpio. Often associated with complexity, this water sign will seek out pieces with subtle intricacies as well as colors like maroon, burgundy, deep reds, black, blue-green, and rich browns.

9. Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

Associated with travel and the love for wisdom, Sagittarius are often straight-forward, highly intelligent, extremely clever, humorous and generous. Sagittarius’ are enlivened by purple so a room featuring a rich purple would satisfy the Sagittarius’ psyche, along with complimented colors such as royal blue, reds, oranges, and yellows.

10. Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

Hardworking a resourceful is this goat. A Capricorn is known to be ambitious, modest, patient, responsible, and stable. This sturdy figure seeks out earth-tones. Organic shades of brown from copper and leather blend well with colors such as navy, gray, black, burgundy, gold, and rust-orange. This sign shows versatility by showcasing an inclination for trendy colors and pieces.

11. Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

Symbolized by the water-bearer this sign showcases individuality and unusualness. This sign is thought to have a modest, creative, challenging, and inquisitive nature. This quirky air sign may have more of a tendency for metallic silver and gold, and electric and fluorescent shades of blue, green, violet. Aquarius are not afraid to venture outside their comfort zone or think outside-of-the-box when it comes to decorating their room.

12. Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

This last sign of the zodiac often corresponds with human emotions. Pisces tend to be dreamy, romantic, generous, emotional, and affectionate and with these qualities, Pisces will moreso lean towards luminous shades such as dark blues, ocean green, pinks, pearly, golds, and shiny metallics. Wispy branches accented in the decor would be favorable for Pisces.
