If you’re having a bad hair day, or just love the look of a hat, you’re in luck because there are many ways to wear a hat. When you look at celebrities, they’ve really figured out the best ways to wear a hat. I’m sure we’ve all had those days where nothing – and I mean nothing – seems to look good and we want to toss out our wardrobe and start fresh, but there’s no need with all of the inspiration we can find online of our favorite celebs wearing our favorite trend or accessory.
Effortless, girly, and chic, floppy hats or hats with floppy brims have been in style for a long time now, and I can only assume it’s because of how easy they are to toss on and go. With a floppy hat, you don’t have to worry about placing the hat in just the right place to make the style work, you just have to make sure it’s not blocking your eyes because the magic is in the flop!
I think tan and lighter neutral shades of these hats are great for more boho, girly or simple outfits, but I love the black style below because it feels a bit more purposeful and edgy.
I grew up loving this style of hat, I had probably six or seven of them and loved wearing them, so seeing them now makes me feel all sorts of nostalgia and it’s amazing. I love this black one on Vanessa Hudgens because it suits this boho look but could be worn with other styles as well.
Honestly, I’m a tall blonde so I love seeing Blake Lively’s style and seeing her wear this newspaper boy hat is everything. I like that this hat can be worn with such different styles and women and still look great.
Straw hats give me serious beach vibes. I think anyone who wants to wear a hat like this, should. However, I don’t think this is one that I will be jumping into mainly because it really gives me beach vibes and I rarely go to the beach and the color of these hats that I love is too close to my hair color and looks a bit off when I try to wear it.
I love Beyonce’s floppy option and Selena’s simpler style. My next beach trip, I’m going to have to find one of these and try it out.
These are one of the two styles I wear most often because of how easy they are and how well they pair with almost any outfit. Zendaya has hers paired with waves, a cute jacket and a simple tank and looks stunning – which is nothing new for Zendaya.
Hailey Beiber is wearing a baseball hat more casually with a graphic t-shirt, black skinny jeans, and lace-up heeled booties and this casual style of hat fits right in.
The second of my go-to favorite hats – the beanie. I love beanies because they are the simplest of all hats. It did take me a few tries before I figured out how exactly to style and wear a hat like this, but now they are probably the easiest hat for me to throw on in the cooler months.
Emma Stone looks cozy in her more preppy styling and Cara DeLavingne’s jacket gives the simple hat some edge.
