How To Throw The Ultimate Summer Party

With summer around the corner, it means one thing: parties, parties, and more parties! Summer is a great time to spend time with your friends and do whatever your heart desires. You can sleep all day, stay up all night, go to the pool, or go to the lake. The possibilities are endless! Throwing a summer party is a great way to spend time with your friends in a way that everyone will have fun with! I have put together some tips for throwing the best and ultimate summer party! One that you and your friends will never forget and that everyone will be talking about for years to come! Here is how to throw the ultimate summer party!

1. Decorations

Having and theme can be super fun, and if you have a theme you can have decorations that match that theme! If you don’t have a theme you can still decorate to have a great time! Things like balloons, party hats, streamers, a photo booth, all of that will make your party look great and instagramable! With the right decor, any party is an awesome party, even if you aren’t doing anything more than listening to music or watching a movie.

2. Snacks

People are always getting hungry, and even when they aren’t they like to snack! A summer party without snacks is no party at all! Get a variety of snacks and put them in little bowls, people will be thanking you forever! You can get things like skinny pop, cheez-it, Cheetos, anything you like! People will be so excited to snack all day long!

3. Pool/ Water Games

In the summer, it’s hot. It’s hot and people want to be less hot. Throwing a party by the pool or having water games is the perfect way to help people cool off! Plus, there are so many things to do by the pool and so many different water games that it is impossible for your guests to ever get bored. You can either go to the neighborhood pool, use your home pool or if neither is an option, you can throw a party and have water games such as a water balloon fight or a slip and slide!

4. Lake

If you live near the lake, having your party at the lake is also a great idea! Similar to a pool or water games, having your party by the lake will help people cool off, and they will be thankful for it.

5. Fun Drinks

If you are old enough to drink, have some fun alcoholic beverages for your guests! Pitcher drinks, margaritas, anything that is fun and refreshing. If you or your guests cannot drink you still have so many options! You could make smoothies, lemonade, or even virgin drinks! The possibilities are endless, but anything that can help your guests cool off will keep the party going!

6. Music

It’s not a party without music! Get a nice portable speaker, or a waterproof one, and let the party start! All you have to do is make a killer playlist, and then everyone will be dancing the day and night away.

7. Fruit

While it’s a great idea to have some snacks, having some fruit out on the table will also help keep your guests happy. Watermelon, mango, oranges, pineapple, or any other fruit that you like. Some fruit is also a great way to cool off, and it tastes better in the hot summer sun!

8. Have Fun and Relax!

While it can be stressful being the host, don’t forget to have fun! It’s a party after all!
