Your girl is getting married and it’s time to throw her an epic bachelorette party. It’s her final hurrah before becoming a Mrs. so you’re probably feeling the pressure to get it right. Get ready to pop the bubbly: here’s how to throw the bride a celebration she’ll never forget.
This one seems pretty obvious, but in all the party planning, it can be easy to forget. Chances are, you know the bride better than even her fiancé. List out her favorite foods to eat, drinks to enjoy and activities to do and use it to start the planning process. If she has a favorite restaurant downtown, book a reservation. If she loves to sing, check out reviews for karaoke bars. Got an outdoorsy bride? Camping trips can make a excellent bachelorette party! Your bride will feel so loved and appreciate your thoughtfulness.
Let the bachelorette party be a little vacation from wedding planning for the bride and the bridal party. Book a hotel or AirBnb where everyone can relax and just enjoy themselves. Take a week off somewhere exotic or plan a two-day trip somewhere close to home. Take her favorite places into consideration and plan accordingly.
Some awesome places to check out is Napa Valley in California for the wine-drinking bride or Puerto Rico for the bride that likes a little adventure.
If you’re able to, check in early and decorate the room or house before guests arrive. Pick a color scheme or theme and let your inner Pinterest Queen out! Set up a table with her favorite drinks and snacks. Purchase letter balloons and spell out something fun like “Pop the champagne. She’s changing her name!” Find some novelty balloons like bottles of champagne or an engagement ring to hang up, too. You can even order customized banners from sellers on Etsy to use! Set up a fun photo backdrop with tinsel, fun fabric or feather boas!
Put together goodie bags for everyone. You can make it hangover themed and include bottles of water, a granola bar and aspirin. It can be a bag of sweets with the bride’s favorite cookies, candies or cakes. If you want to get the party started, or keep it going, bottles of bubbly or the bride’s favorite liquor would make the perfect favor.
A trendy and fun idea would be to include bridal party shirts in the goodie bag. Whether it says something like “Bride Tribe” or “I Do Crew”, they’ll make for epic pictures and fun souvenirs of the weekend.
Some grooms might already be planning on doing something, but call him up anyways and see if he has any ideas for the weekend. He can pay for dinner, send flowers or have bottles of champagne chilled at the room. Even something as small as a video will put a smile on the bride’s face. It might be the her weekend, but having a little piece of her groom involved somehow will make it feel extra special. It’s a super simple idea that will have everyone aww-ing and cooing that she really did find the one.
You can’t throw her an epic Bachelorette Party if you don’t know what she wants. The bride can give you a list of place to check out or things to do. If she has a Pinterest wedding board, scroll through it for more ideas to help the planning process.
