How To Style Your Fashion Scarf To Match The Current Trend

Fashion scarves are all the rage right now, and rightfully so. There are an endless amount of ways that you can style them to spice up your look.

These scarves, which usually are made from a silky material, are great because they come in so many patterns and colors. This ensures that you find one that matches your look and outfit choice.

Since there are so many ways to style these accessories, it can get hard to keep track. This list will help you find the style that is right for you!

1. Half-Up Half-Down

This is a great option to add some extra flair to an otherwise simple hairstyle.

Section off the top section of your hair and secure it with an elastic. Wrap your scarf around the elastic and tie in a knot.

Depending on how long you want the tails of the knot to be, you can wrap the fashion scarf once or twice around the hair elastic.

For extra security, it is also a good idea to secure with bobby pins to prevent the silk from slipping off your hair.

2. Fashion Scarf Top

This is such a cute idea for summer outfits or even festival looks!

Wrap your scarf from the back of your body to the front. Depending on the size of your particular scarf, you may need to fold it in half before completing this step.

Place around your chest, and tie the tails into a tight knot. Make sure that you aren’t creating a knot that is too loose, or it will not stay put.

Place double-sided tape or fashion tape on your skin and be sure to connect it to the scarf material. This will make sure that your cute new look will stay in place throughout the day.

For extra coverage, you can wear a bandeau or strapless bra under your top.

3. Bun Wrap

We all have those days, especially in the summertime, when we just want to throw our hair up and not worry about it.

With a fashion scarf, you can throw your hair up into a messy bun and still look put together and chic.

After you have created your bun and tied it with an elastic, wrap the scarf around the base of the bun. Wrap it as many times as you like. You can tie the ends in a knot or in a bow for more detail.

4. Headwrap

Wrap the scarf around your head. Depending on the length of the scarf, you may need to wrap it around twice.

There are so many options when it comes to tying off the fashion scarf. You can simply knot the ends together and leave the knot showing, you could tie a small bow, or you could knot it then hide it by moving it to the back of your head.

For extra security, secure with bobby pins.

This is a cute way to add some extra detail to your hairstyle, and to keep your hair from hanging in your face during the summer heat!

5. Neck Tie

Adding a neck tie is a common statement made by celebrities lately, and it is so adorable! This adds a spunky, unique twist to any outfit!

Wrap the scarf around your neck as many times as you’d like. Make sure to keep it loose so it doesn’t get uncomfortable throughout the day. Tie in a knot.

You can slide the tie to the side, which is what is commonly seen, or keep it hanging towards the middle of your chest! The choice is yours!
