How To Incorporate The Best Runway Looks In Your Wardrobe

I don’t know about all of you, but although I am no fashionista, I do love to follow along with the latest styles and trends that are all over the world. Although social media does have it’s cons, there are many pros to technology. Since I can’t travel to every runway show in the world, with apps like Instagram and Snapchat, it’s easy to follow models and celebrities–see what new trends are happening. That’s why I have here the steps in how to incorporate the best Runway Looks in your wardrobe.

First, let’s talk about bright colors!

Bright colors are in, ladies and I sure hope you are wearing them all summer long. Bright colors are one of my favorite Runway Looks this year because they make us feel good. Bring out the blues, yellows, greens and pinks and let’s live life on the edge! I don’t know about you, but I used to only wear dark colors because truthfully, wearing bright neon colors was way out of my comfort zone. But… not anymore. Bright colors alone make me feel good, happier and overall, free in a way if that makes sense. Of course I still love the color black and navy blues, but bright colors are my new thing and they should be yours too. Check out below some bright colored items that you can bring into your wardrobe!

It’s all about the stripes

This spring and early summer you have probably seen a lot of stripes on models for Runway Looks. That’s because they are IN style. From every stripe design you could possibly think of (seaside stripes, bold stripes, thin stripes, double stripes) they are truly everywhere. I’ve always been a fan of stripes, but for me personally, I’ve known when the correct time of year it is to wear them. Now that they’re back in style this year, I’m beginning to realize that there no correct time, so just where them all year long. If you don’t have stripes in your closet (although, I can guarantee that you do), you better get shopping now and add some stripes to your wardrobe.

White everything!

One of the hottest Runway Looks this year? White. I love wearing white. It goes with absolutely everything, it’s simple, chic. You can fancy this color up or you can make it casual which is the way I usually lean towards. My favorite part about wearing white is that it acts like a reflector and lights up my face and truthfully, this can be a confidence boost if I’m having a difficult day. What’s even better is that you can purchase white clothes at just about anywhere. So, just do it. Put some white (or more) into your wardrobe, and I promise you that you will not regret it.

You can’t forget combat boots

Combat boots are boot lovers dream. At least that’s what I believe. What are combat boots? They are military style laced-up ankle boots that you can wear year after year and not have to purchase another pair because they are incredibly durable. It’s one of the hottest looks of the year and you don’t have to wait until winter to wear them. Why? Because if celebrities are wearing them during the spring and summer months, believe me, so can you.

Combat boots just for you:

Telinda Combat Boot from DSW. Price: $69.00. I love this pair because it has a low block heel, lace-up closure with an inside zipper and has a padded footbed which makes it an incredibly comfy shoe that you can wear all year long.

Bryce Leather Platform Combat Boot from Michael Kors. These shoes are usually $225.00 but are on sale right now for only $99.00

Trench Coats!

Trench Coats are in and they’re not only for during the winter. There are many lightweight trench coats that can be added to your outfit as an extra accessory. Trench coats are even being worn over athletic clothes to make a fashion statement and I’m not sure if I could love that more because it’s incredibly stylish and a trend that I wouldn’t have even thought about creating myself.

Don’t want to spend a lot of money? Let’s be real. Life in the world is difficult and incredibly… incredibly expensive. With the Covid-19 pandemic, life changed dramatically and what once was the normal, well it’s no longer the same and we are all slowly adapting (still) to the new life that is now. Trust me, I get it. Although many of these items on this page are from high end brands, it doesn’t mean that you have to purchase them to stay up-t0-date with the latest Runway/Makeup trends. It’s just a guide to help you. That’s why there are many other websites that you can shop at to purchase clothes. Try Forever 21, Cupshe, H&M, Fabletics (with a subscription for athletic clothes) and one of my favorite online stores, ThredUP. ThredUP is a second hand clothing store with items that can be up to 90% off. You can still purchase some of the hottest fashion/makeup trends at these websites, but also save more money, too.
