How To Improve Your Instagram Pics To Look Like Other Beauty Bloggers
Your Instagram sucks. You work hard on getting these cute pics and spending so much time finding the correct filter, but somehow it looks like you were trying a theme of some sort and you changed your mind, and changed it again a few images later. Then there’s that random image that doesn’t go with anything. Here I will show you what it takes to get a bomb Instagram like those famous beauty bloggers you see. Here’s how to improve your Instagram!
1. Have a theme.
Aspen Ovard’s Instagram has a lot of light and pastel colors. Some other themes would be like including a lot of white in the backgrounds or having a accent color that you would include in all of your photos.
2. Have a go to editing app(s).
A really good one many people use is VSCO. There are so many filters and tools to choose from. Something I heard some instagramers do is put a filter on their image, export it, and put another filter on it. Maggie MacDonald’s instagram is a good example of this. For her instagram, shown in her youtube video, she uses filters C1 then A4.
3. Brainstorm.
Make a folder in your photo album on your phone of all the photos you want to post or the photos you have posted to see of it goes with the theme. Otherwise, you are risking the chance of your pics not going together and that’s not what we want!
4. Take pictures of everything!
Then you hear all the older generations say things like how we take pictures of everything and don’t enjoy life or whatever… but really don’t be constantly taking pics. Get a good pic and enjoy the rest of the moment. This is seriously how to improve your Instagram.
5. Let your creativity fly!
Say your with your friends out to dinner or going shopping. Take some cute pics in the middle of Victoria’s Secret or you on the ground because you guys shopped till you dropped (if you dropped at the end of your shopping spree you know you had a good time). To be honest, anywhere makes for a good pic! Just look at Katy Bellotte, she took a pic in the book aisle at target!
6. Be Real
Just remember that making your Instagram look like the beauty bloggers that you remember to express yourself because that’s what social media is made for. Don’t pretend to be someone else. And don’t be traveling and buying all these things to make it look a certain way, that also goes along the lines of pretending to be someone else. Be you, the best version of you!
