How To Have The Perfect Thanksgiving Date

Don’t let the busy holiday season prevent you and your partner from planning the perfect Thanksgiving date. Despite all the excitement, there is plenty that you and your significant other can do together. Finding the time to have a wonderful date is the ultimate way to express your gratitude to your partner. If you’re struggling to come up with some good Thanksgiving date ideas to try this year, check out some of these suggestions.

1. Prep food together

Some studies show that couples who cook together have healithier relationships, so why not try prepping a meal together for a Thanksgiving date? It’ll be a fun time for you two to be together, talk more, and have a fun time cooking food. Whether you’re making food for yourselves or for your families, prepping food together will bring you both a lot closer. It’ll also be a great opportunity for you to try out some new recipes that you can make each year.

2. Volunteer together

Volunteering together is another powerful bonding experience for you and your partner. The holiday season gives you plenty of opportunities to help your community, so try taking advantage of that. Volunteering together would also make a wonderful Thanksgiving date because you and your partner get to try new things together, discover your shared values, and make an impact on your community together. Whether you volunteer at the soup kitchen or buy gifts to donate, you and your significant other will be making a difference while becoming closer to each other at the same time. It’ll definitely be a fun experience!

3. Tell each other what you’re thankful for

We all know that Thanksgiving is a great time to express your gratitude for your loved ones, so make sure to let your partner know how grateful you are for them. Taking a romantic stroll together away from all the commotion can also give you time to communicate or simply enjoy being in each other’s presence. Maybe you and your partner don’t want to be bothered with family or friends this year. There’s nothing wrong with having a more intimate Thanksgiving dinner for just the two of you. You can always visit family after your private dinner to pop in and say hello. Spending Thanksgiving with only your partner can be a great thing for several reasons. It’s a big step in any relationship, and you avoid the hard decision of which family dinner you’ll go to. The holidays become a bit more stressful the older we get, and being in a relationship doesn’t make things any easier. Do yourselves a favor and consider having dinner together as a perfect Thanksgiving date.

7. Go away together

Sometimes, the two of you just need to go away together. How far you decide to go is entirely up to you and your partner. There’s no better way to have a stress-free Thanksgiving date than by vacationing together. Depending on how crazy things get for your families during the holidays, it could be beneficial for both of you. You and your significant other will have guaranteed quality time together and don’t have to worry about cooking or deciding which family to have Thanksgiving with.

It’s not your typical Thanksgiving date, but it’s just an idea if you and your significant other enjoy a good adrenaline rush!
