Sometimes, we all just need a little extra girl time in our lives. Sisters before misters am I right? But in all seriousness, I’ve put together my fav tips to have the best girls night ever. Let’s get started!
What’s a fun girls night without yummy snacks? Get together you and your besties favorite junk food and set up a cute little snack station. Chips, donuts, Oreos, do it all. You can even set up a cute soda station or chocolate fondue station to make chocolate covered strawberries! Goals. We all deserve a treat day every once in a while. Yum!
Doing face masks is a great way to unwind and relax with your girlfriends. Get in comfy robes, slippers and have a cute spa night. Sip on some lavender tea and turn on an essential oils diffuser. Lay back, relax and listen to relaxing music. Spa nights at home have never been so easy!
Wearing matching pjs is a perfect Instagram photo opportunity. If you can, find matching sets and have a full on cuddle sesh! You’re never too young to cuddle. Y’all can even braid each others hair. Goals! And it feels like heaven. Target has some cute pj sets that are relatively inexpensive, so I recommend looking there.
Your girls night is not complete without a movie or Netflix marathon. Set up a pillow fort and fuzzy blankets and get ready to not move for a few hours. Gossip Girl marathon for two please! Bring snacks and drinks and you’re set.
Girls are the queens of gossip and talking about all things boys, beauty and drama. At your girls night, just let it all out and vent about something that’s been on your mind lately. Nothing like a friend who actively listens and is there for you. We love a therapy session and girls night in one!
Another fun activity for your girls night in is baking. Whip up some chocolate brownies, cupcakes or chocolate chip cookies. Baking with your closest girlfriends is so fun and perfect for when you need a good laugh. Plus, you get delicious homemade desserts to munch on afterwards. I’m craving sweets now.
Girls night is a great chance to get some cute photos with your besties. If you use a polaroid camera you can see them faster, but if not that’s okay too! You can take these before you change into your pjs or after, it’s all up to you. Hang the final products up on your wall later to commemorate the fun night.
Pillow fights aren’t just for middle schoolers. Take it back to your roots and let out your silly side. Set up a place in your living room where there’s nothing breakable nearby and go to town. Everyone gets one pillow and whoever hits the floor first loses! Ready, set, pillow fight!
After all the festivities, it’s nice to have a comfy sleeping area to collapse in when you hit a wall around 2 a.m. Sleeping in the same room is nice because you can talk and tell stories until everyone falls asleep. Set up tons of blankets, pillows, sleeping bags, and mattresses. Make it a zen area where you can get a good nights sleep.
