Who doesn’t love a good night with the girls? Sometimes all we need is to enjoy a night in with our best friends, and while every friend group is different, there are some staples that we know all the girls nights require. So here are some tips on how to have a killer girls night!
This one is obvious, for a perfect night in with your ladies, you need to have a killer snack spread! Figure out beforehand what everyone wants to eat and plan to set up a big spread on your coffee table with everyone’s favorites. Order a pizza, bake some cookies, have the best chips and dips ready to dive in, it wouldn’t be a proper girls night if there weren’t too much food. After all, there’s nothing better than lounging back with your friends and enjoying delicious food at the same time. Set up your feast on a coffee table or something like it so that you guys can stay centered near the couch for optimum coziness.
What’s the perfect way to combat all those sugary treats you’ll be eating? Face masks of course! Stock up on your favorite and get ready to treat yourself. If you don’t feel like spending too much money on fancy masks then you can look up home treatments for face masks you can make with ingredients you probably already have! Feel free to also take advantage of all the extra hands you’ll have around, and have a mani-pedi party as well! Girls night is all about enjoying your friends and what better way to do that then to pamper yourself with them?
Girls night in is a great excuse to pull out all the sappy Rom-Coms you own. These movie staples will provide you and your friends with a good laugh, and maybe even a good cry! Because sometimes we need a bit of both to really get through the evening. Girls night is the time to revisit all the old classics, watch Elle Woods become a kick-ass lawyer in Legally Blonde, or see Jenna transform into a woman in 13 Going on 30, worship Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada, and of course, finish your movie marathon with a bit of Mean Girls magic. There’s no better way to cuddle up with your ladies than with the best movies, so make sure it’s part of your plan!
Otherwise known as gossip, this part of the evening is necessary. For some, girls night is a way to catch up with friends who you don’t get to see very often so make sure you utilize the time to talk and get up to date on everyone’s lives! Even if you do hang out with your friends all the time, there’s nothing better than a meaningful conversation among good friends, and a little bit of juicy gossip always keeps things lively. Make sure you don’t skip out on the conversation portion of the evening because that’s where all the good laughs are!
