It’s easy to get caught up in the notion that having a perfect body with no cellulite is the epitome of health and beauty. Let me tell you, it isn’t. Loving you body is the first step to achieving the goals you want. However, I do understand the urge to get rid of or reduce the sight of cellulite on your body. Here are a few steps to take to reduce your unwanted cellulite, but it’s important to remember that there is no cure or permanent solution.
Bring a loofa into the shower and have scrub down of the areas you see cellulite. Getting rid of the dead cells, ingrown hairs and scrubbing will help improve blood flow and circulation which may help reduce signs of cellulite.
There aren’t many creams that will help get rid of cellulite but using lotions and body scrubs with stimulant ingredients may help increase blood flow and circulation which is said to help reduce cellulite.
Toning and firming your areas with cellulite may help reduce the appearance of cellulite on your body. Cellulite appears because of fat in your body, so reducing body fat percentage will aid in the amount of cellulite that appears.
Incorporate a weight lifting routine to your gym sessions, replacing fat with muscle will make your skin firmer and may help reduce the appearance of cellulite.
Exercise is also a tremendous tool for improving your mental health. You will see many benefits from exercise, not just reducing cellulite.
Most women have cellulite and its a perfectly normal and natural thing to have. Often surgeries wont work and will actually increase the appearance of cellulite from removing too much fat. We need fat on our bodies to survive.
Diet alone will not cure the dreaded cellulite. However, having a healthy and balanced diet will reduce inflammation in your body which may help reduce the appearance of cellulite.
Also, a healthy diet will help you physically and mentally and you may find your mental health is so great that you don’t even care you have cellulite!
If you’re a regular smoker, research shows that cigarette smoke can weaken the formation of collagen which is the main structural component of connective tissue, making cellulite more visible.
Water helps us stay hydrated and flushes out toxins from out body, which may or may not help improve cellulite.
Apparently rubbing coffee grounds is said to tighten the skin which may help with reducing the appearance of cellulite. I wouldn’t depend on this one, but if you have some coffee grounds going to waste why not give it a try.
Similar to exfoliating, this step is said to detoxify the body, stimulate cell growth and remove dead skin cells. Why not give it a go!
Green tea has powerful antioxidants which may help reduce cellulite. Drinking green tea means you increase your water intake, which overall helps with weight loss and mental health.
