How To Decorate Your Room To Make Everyone Jealous
Your room is your space to make it look however you want and get your thinking and imagination cap. So decorate your room how you feel is fitting to you, doesn’t matter if people don’t have your same style, they will after having seen your room.
Everyone is different but when you see a nicely decorated room it just inspires you and makes you want to do the same, thus here are some ways to decorate your room and get people having room-envy because your room ain’t theirs.
Obviously what one may find stylish someone else may not find it stylish, but at the end of the day you need to decorate your room so that when you get home you feel at home, that is the whole point of room decor.
1. Fairy-lights are EVERYTHING
Now, this is a personal preference of mine but fairy-lights are my life. They make a room so cute and Pinterest looking with so little effort but yet when one walks in the first thing they notice are the fairy-lights. This is a great way to decorate your room and give it light without needing to use the big massive light on you ceiling (ugh I can’t stand them).
Fairy-lights can be styled however you want on your walls, ceiling, in jars or even around your bedding or floor. It is all personal preference, but I love them around the bed an on the walls.

2. Fur Fur Fur (but faux fur)
Who doesn’t love faux fur? Honestly it gives the room such a cute and sweet vibe as well as making the room super cozy. You can choose if to have pillows, covers or throws in faux fur. You don’t have to, but I highly recommend you have some bits and bobs in fur. Everyone will be raving about how soft it is and how cute it is.

3. Picture Galore
A room full of pictures is a room full of memories. It’s a great way to decorate your room with pictures either printed off or taken with Polaroids. The cutest are Polaroid pictures because they are one of a kind and actually a one off memory that only you have, thus I highly recommend investing in one if you’re wanting to add to the cute decorations.

4. Tapestry Heaven
Tapestry is actual life and makes a great way to decorate a room. You know why? It’s cute, stylish and covers those ugly plain white walls. I love a good tapestry that reflects your persona and how you feel. It makes the room look so much cozier as well as gives it a great vibe. Choose a tapestry that you feel fits who you are.

5. Series Inspo
Now, I love a good sticking to a series you watched and fell in love to. It gives your room character and will 100% be one of a kind because everyone is different. This is definitely a different way to decorate a room, but if you love shows and want to show it off go for it. Friends, for example is one of my (and everyones’) favorite TV shows, and this looks so cute.

Throws, or covers are the best way to decorate your room. They are so cozy and warm and are perfect for the colder seasons when you just want to wrap yourself up and warm up without going into your bed. They look super cute on your bed as well, especially if you choose patterns or fury ones. You can fold them and leave them at the corner of your bed for when you get back from a long and busy day.

7. Mirrors
Mirrors are a definite must in a room, they are great for getting ready, making your room look bigger but also for all the selfies you’ll be taking throughout the year. It’s a fantastic way to decorate your room, because you can add fairy-lights around it, or a dresser with your jewelry or even a coat rack to look stylish. It’s up to you really, but mirrors look amazing in a room, especially a nice long one that you can rest on a wall or prop up next to your closet.

8. Pillows
Lastly, pillows are the absolute best way to decorate your room, they are super cute and honestly you can a billion of them and still want more because they look that great and are just so comfortable to have. They are perfect for relaxing but also to give your room a cozy yet cute vibe. So get on board and buy all the pillows you can get, patterned, velvet, fur, fuzzy, colorful, whatever your heart and style desires.
