How To Decorate Like A Pro For The Holidays On A Budget

Budgeting for the holidays is never easy! If you’re on a budget and can’t figure out how to decorate your home for the holidays, these are great ideas that will make you rethink your holidays for the future! You’ll love these idea to help you decorate like a pro this holiday season!

1. Reusable Tree

Buying a tree every year can be costly if you are trying to save! Buying a reusable tress is great to decorate with! It will never turn brown and there are different sizes to choose from. They are relatively cheap and some even come already decorated which saves you time and money when you decorate. There are so many colors that you can get when you buy a reusable tree!

2. Stockings

Stockings are a great way to decorate a wall that needs a little more something. It’s a fun way to put your own style during the holidays! It’s a great way to spend an evening decorating your stockings with friends while getting ready for the holidays! No stocking will look the same when you decorate them yourself! They can come in different colors! You can add anything to it to make it your own!

3. Lights

Getting the right lighting is very important when you decorate for the holidays. They are great if you want to decorate using different colors or need to spice out a room with some little or big lighting. The best part about lights is there are so many decorations that have lights in them so you don’t just have to use string lights you can buy plug in candles!

Nothing says the holidays like wall decor! There are so many things you can decorate your wall with that you can find anything to compliment your style without spending too much money this holiday season! From pictures to sayings, decorating came a lot easier with decor that can fill a blank wall with some holiday cheer!

Having a nice entrance when you walk into your house is a great way to get into the spirit of the holidays. When people drive or walk past your house, no one will be able to take their eyes off of your front door! A wreath can come in different colors so you can have your own style added to it! Just like the reusable tree, this wreath can be reused for years to come. It is a great way to save money and still have decorations for a long time!

6. Garland

Garland is a great way to decorate for the holidays. You can hang these on walls. You can drape them on a fireplace, on a table, and wrap them around a staircase! You can get real garland or fake, either is a great choice to decorate your home for the holidays. To make them fancier, you can wrap lights around them, tie bows, and to add a little scent; you can add eucalyptus! There is so many things you can do with garland!

7. Pillows

Accent pillows can create a great look to a space if you don’t want to put too many decorations up! You can have many different styles of pillows with sayings on them, designs, and plaid patterns. They make any space inviting and lift anyone’s spirits with these plushy things! If you find a pattern that you like put they are not already made into a pillow, you can create your own fairly easy! If you have an old pillow that needs a new cover, that is a great way to reuse pillows you already have!

8. Holiday Picture Frame

If you have holiday pictures you have yet to frame, putting them in a frame that say ‘Merry Christmas’ or ‘Happy Holidays’ can help fill the white space you have yet to cover on your wall. They come in all shapes and sizes for those pictures you want bigger or smaller! You can save them for years to come! You can save money by printing your pictures at home rather than at a print shop. If you have cute old photos and want to place them somewhere to show off; putting them in a frame can spruce up any memory for the holidays!

Buying an advent calendar is great for those who love countdowns and chocolate! These are great for the holidays and can hype up your enjoyment each day it gets closer to the holidays. These come in all kinds of shapes and can hide many different things depending on which ones you buy. They are great if you want a little surprise for the day and can add a little spirit anywhere you put it!

10. Countdown Calendar

If you are unable have little sweet treats, countdown calendars are great to mark off and can get the excitement you would with little treats! Everyday you tick off a day is one day closer to the best day in anyone’s life! You can buy them with any theme. They are great to look at in the kitchen or bedroom depending on where you want to hang it!

11. Winter Floral Arrangements

These arrangements can tie any space together! They are easy to make if you have empty Mason jars or vases left around. You can use any arrangement from your garlands and you can go buy some from any arts and crafts stores, lights can be used as well! They are a great project if you want a little more decoration in a space but don’t want anything bulky being in the way. You can add anything you want to decorate a space using this kind of arrangement!
