How To Copy Carrie Underwood’s Leg Workout
Thigh gaps may be out but beautiful toned legs are always in. I mean who wouldn’t kill for Carrie Underwood’s legs? And since the weather is heating up and the shorts are getting shorter, so the time to work on those legs of yours is now. Luckily for you, I am sharing some of my love to hate exercises that are guaranteed to burn your legs to the best shape of your life. Here’s how to copy Carrie Underwood’s leg workout to get the legs you’ve always dreamed of.
In/out pulses
Any time I want to burn out my legs and bottom, I do these. You simply pulse 3 times in a squat with your feet together, then jump to a wide leg stance and do another three squat pulse… That is one. If you add just ten of these to a circuit or 20 of them at the end of your cardio, you will start to see your inner and outer thighs slim down.

The Stairmaster is my nemesis, but these moves do wonders for my booty. Instead of taking the steps one at a time, skip every other step and add a kick back as the leg steps up. I would really recommend these to people who already have muscle mass and are just looking to tone and slim down.
Weighted goblin squats
These horrible little guys are for all of you looking to build out that booty and even get rid of those chicken legs. Take a wide stance with your toes pointed at a 45 degree angle outwards. With whatever weight you feel comfortable with and squat as low as you can without your knees going past your toes.
Hip thrusts
Honestly, this exercise will make you feel awkward as hell, but it is my go-to move for my bottom and the back of my upper thighs. Just lay on the ground or set your shoulders on a bench, and press your hips up, squeezing your bottom at the top. For even more of burn, add weight instead of reps.
Walking lunges
You can do these weighted or not, either way they are going to slim your thighs and build tone. Anytime I want to really step it up, I end each set with jumping lungs, switching my legs in the air. Make sure that you are not letting your knee go over your toes or your other knee touch the floor… keep the tension on the legs so the exercise does the most possible.
