There is no use in having a beard if you aren’t going to take care of it! The best way to keep your beard soft and under control is by applying a beard oil to it. If you’re asking yourself “how do I do that?” you are not alone. Keep reading to find out exactly how to apply beard oil (the right way!)
Wait to apply your beard oil until after you shower. Your hair will be clean, soft, and ready to absorb the benefits of the oil. (Make sure it is completely dry, though, so that any water won’t reject the oil!)
Squeeze about 2-3 drops in your hands and warm between your palms. Lightly brush the front and sides of your beard with your hands to get all of the oil on there.
Next, start using your fingers to comb the beard oil through your beard. Work it through for a bit until you feel like the oil is almost entirely off your hands and on your beard.
Finally, use a comb to more evenly distribute the oil throughout your beard. You can also use the comb to style your beard any way you want.
Start off by using beard oil every other day. If you are in a warmer client, you might need it less. If you are in a colder climate, you might find that you need it every day instead of every other. Find what works for you!
Finding a good beard oil can be difficult. Weigh in factors such as fragrance or types of oil to figure out which one you like best! We have chosen a couple products below to help get you started.
