Holiday Makeup Looks To Wow This Season

’Tis the season to sparkling eyes, bold lips, and major holiday glow! The holiday season is the most wonderful time of year, where you can finally pull out all of your sparkly dresses, curl your hair, and add some extra glitz and glam to your beauty routines! Start practicing and planning your holiday looks for this season, so that you are fully prepared for all of the big parties and events coming your way. Get ready to WOW this season with these holiday makeup looks!

1. Classic matte red lips

Matte red lips are such a staple during the holiday season. Buy yourself a few different shades of matte red lipsticks and lip liners to help you get through the holidays. Since the red lips are such a pop of color, tone down the rest of your makeup so that it isn’t too overpowering. Add some bronze sparkly shadows to your eyes to give a little glitz, and don’t forget to add the cat-eye liner to your eyes! This is such a classic look, and will be your go-to look throughout the season.

2. Bronze shimmery shadow

If you are looking for a way to add a little bling to your eyes, try copper and bronze shadows instead of the typical matte colors. Smudge the shimmery copper or bronze shadow along the top and bottom of your lash lines, and fill in the rest of the eye with a complimentary copper or bronze color. Add a light line of black liner along your eye. Complete the look with a glossy nude lip color!

3. Bold Evergreen eyelids

Make a statement with this bold evergreen eyeshadow look! Line your upper and lower lash lines with an evergreen color, and then add a lighter green color to the rest of your eyes. This look is bound to make a statement, so keep the rest of your makeup more natural looking. Add a matte nude color to your lips to finish the look!

4. The cat-eye look

The cat-eye look is always a staple during the holiday season. This eyeliner look is super simple to do, and will make your makeup look so much more sophisticated and trendy. You can either go with the bold cat-eye look, or add some matte eyeshadow to go along with it. If you want to make a big statement, add a matte red lipstick to go with it! This is one of our favorite holiday makeup looks!

5. Gold eyes and dark red lips

Red and gold are two of the famous Christmas colors that go so well together, so use these colors to create a very holiday inspired makeup look. Start off with a gold smokey eye, and add some dark browns and blacks to make the eyes look super bold. You can even add a hint of dark pink glitter shadow for some color, and it will help compliment the dark red lip color. Since both your eyes and lips are very bold, keep the rest of your face more on the natural side for a great contour look! This is one of the most festive holiday makeup looks!

6. Gold and pink smokey eye

Instead of the typical bronze and black smokey eye, try this look! You can use any gold or bronze shimmery color and add some black to the tips of the eye. Highlight the top of the eye with a dark pink/magenta shimmery color to add a pop of color. You can finish the look by adding a dramatic cat-eye liner, and a nude lip color.

7. Silver shimmery eyeliner

This makeup look is much more unique and will catch the eyes of everyone! Start off by applying a basic matte smokey eye to your eyelids. Add some silver glitter eyeliner to the top lash, and the top of the eyelid to make the eye pop! You can also add some black liner to the eyes to help bring out your eyes even more. Complete the look with a bright red matte lip color!

8. Nudes

You may want to take a break from the bold lips and glitter eyes, and that is totally acceptable! Instead of going for a bold look, try this nude look instead. Apply a simple bronze smokey eye to the eyelids, and add a light brown eyeliner to help the eyes pop. Complete this look by adding a very neutral nude color to the lips, with a nude lip liner on top! This look is great to wear all year round!

9. Glitter cat-eye with plum lips

Add a little sparkle to your cat-eye look by adding a glitter liner on the ends of your black eyeliner. The touch of sparkle liner will bring out a very festive look, which is perfect to rock for a party during the holiday season! Finish off the look with a plum matte lipstick to give the lips a very bold look. This is one of the best holiday makeup looks!

10. Classic bronze smokey eye with matte dark red wine lips

This is another classic makeup look to rock during the holiday season. Nothing pairs better than some gold, shimmery eyes with a matte dark red wine lip. This look will compliment any outfit you wear, and is just the right amount of pop of color and sparkle for your face!
