Halloween costumes are definitely one of the most fun parts of Halloween night. Whether you are going to a party, trick-or-treating, or just hanging at home, wearing a costume is always exciting. Turns out there are a lot of celebrities that agree! Here are our top ten hilarious celebrity Halloween Costumes!
The only thing cuter than a celebrity family is a celebrity family wearing themed Halloween costumes. In 2015, P!nk and her husband, Cary Hart, dressed themselves up as Gertie and Elliot from E.T: The Extra-Terrestrial. But the best part was their daughter, Willow, who dressed up as E.T. himself. Willow’s costume completely covered her body so all you could see were a pair of white trainers sticking out from under E.T.’s feet. How cute!
It’s no secret that The Rock is a big dude, so him dressing up as The Hulk for Halloween was not a big stretch of the imagination. Back in 2012, Dwayne Johnson painted himself green, donned a very messy black wig and a pair of ripped denim shorts and became The Hulk for the day. In 2018, he posted the picture online and Stan Lee himself made fun of the wig, reminding Dwayne that he played a barber in Thor: Ragnarok and could have fixed it for him.
Neil Patrick Harris, his husband David Burtka, and their twins Gideon and Harper have always been famous for their iconic Halloween costumes – but this one was particularly great. Neil dressed in a full robe and a fake beard to play Obi-Wan Kenobi, David grabbed a leather waistcoat and a fake gun to be Han Solo, whilst Harper tied her hair into the classic buns to play Leia Organa and Gideon held up a lightsaber bigger than him to be Luke Skywalker.
Back when Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan were still together, they had the cutest and most hilarious Halloween idea. Channing dressed as Dr. Seuss’ Cat in the Hat, complete with a big furry costume and whiskers drawn on his face! Jenna, meanwhile, wore a leather crop top, corset, long gloves, fishnet stockings, and a tiny hat to be a more sexy version of the character.
If you know anything about the American model, Amber Rose, you’ll know that she is obsessed with Slash. She even has a tattoo of him on her arm which she used to cover up a tattoo of her ex! One year, she went all out to show her love for the rockstar by dressing up as him for Halloween. She showed up to Heidi Klum’s Halloween party with a long, curly black wig, leather jacket, a black electric guitar, and a bottle of Jack Daniels.
Jessica Alba is another celebrity who loves a family Halloween costume. In 2012, she and her husband Cash Warren dressed themselves and their daughter, Honor, up as The Incredibles. Cash’s costume came with padding to recreate Mr. Incredible’s huge muscles, whilst Jessica wore a short brown wig to make herself look more like Elastigirl. Honor was definitely the cutest, though, looking like a mini version of her mum.
As hilarious celebrity Halloween costumes go, this has to be the funniest. Chrissy Teigen has always been a prankster, and she proved it in 2015 when she dressed up as Guy Fieri, the well-known face of the Food Network and cause of many memes. Chrissy rocked Guy’s iconic spiky blonde hair, large Aviator sunglasses, and his infamous flame shirt whilst standing in her kitchen pretending to cook up a meal. In real life, Chrissy loves to cook and is always posting videos of her latest creations on Instagram – so becoming Chrissy Fieri for the day was probably not too difficult for her!
Alyssa Milano has had a lot of adorable family Halloween costumes over the years – sadly never Charmed themed though! One of the best was the year she dressed as Princess Leia and dressed her son up as Yoda. Her husband, David Bugliari, joined in the fun with a realistic Chewbacca costume. The family has since included their daughter in the Halloween fun with even more hilarious outfits such as a group of mismatched superheroes, a group of Pokemon and a Pokemon trainer, and the characters from Despicable Me.
Katy Perry is never one to take herself too seriously and she proved it with this Halloween costume. Before she appeared as a burger in Taylor Swift’s You Need To Calm Down music video, she attended Kate Hudson’s 2014 Halloween party dressed as a Flamin’ Hot Cheeto. The massive orange costume had a space for Katy’s face and she wore a lycra bodysuit underneath. To add to the flair, she made a hangbag out of an empty Cheeto bag and carried it to the party.
Melissa Rycroft and her family achieved one of the funniest and most authentic looking family Halloween costumes even when they dressed as The Flintstones at the 2011 Dream Halloween party. The former Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader and Bachelorette wore a bright orange wig and a white dress with zebra print ruffles to recreate Wilma Flintstones look whilst her husband, Tye Strickland, wore Fred Flintstones iconic orange toga and messy black hair. Their daughter Ava completely the look with a pink patterned dress and a tiny orange wig to look like Fred and Wilma’s daughter, Pebbles.
