If you’re currently reading this and struggling, you are not alone. Your 20s are known as a time when you are finding out who you are. Your 30s is said to be the best time in your life. When you finally know who you are.

Your 20s are a time when you fall head over heels with the wrong guy. You find your career path after taking the long route to get there. It is a time when you live with adventure and excitement. It is a time to take chances, have big dreams and aspirations. It can be a time when you go into debt but figure a way out of it.

Your 20s can also be a hugely stressful time. It can be overwhelming thinking about how the choices you make now can impact the rest of your life. If you are currently in your 20s and feeling miserable, here are 6 helpful tips when you’re struggling.

1. Travel The World

Escape the miserable feeling of being in your 20s and experience excitement and exhilaration. Go and explore the world. Your 20s are a time in your life to open your mind to different cultures and ways of living. Each place will teach you something new. Your 20s are the only time to be independent and spontaneous at the same time. Your 20s are all about self-discovery and travelling the world will do just that.

2. Don’t Stress About Money

Your financial situation can be stressful. It is the first time you receive a paycheck and there are so many things floating in your mind about what you can do with that money. Are you going to spend all of it or save it? When you are in your 20s, you don’t have many responsibilities and can take risks. However, it is important to be responsible with your money. Don’t go overboard and end up spending all of it!

3. Take Care Of Your Body

Many older individuals say they wish they started exercising more or drinking less earlier in their life. It is much easier to get into a habit before you’ve done the damage to your body. People often say eat healthily, wear sunscreen and do some exercise. You will thank yourself later in life!

4. Learn The Lessons Of Failed Relationships

Relationships and friendships. When they fizzle out and become non-existent, it can be sad. It can hurt but know you can get through it. It is an important time to learn from the mistakes of those relationships. Did you communicate properly? Were you honest with your feelings? From these past relationships, identify what you can work on for future relationships.

5. Don’t Compare Yourself To Others

Steve Jobs was 21 when he created Apple. Some people are accomplishing their goals and dreams in their 20s. That’s a wonderful thing but don’t keep score. It is important you don’t compare yourself to where other people are in their lives.  Everyone has a unique path in life. Remember you are following yours.

6. Learn To Love Yourself

One of the most important tips, when you’re struggling in your 20s, is to learn to love yourself. Learning to love yourself can be hard and a long process, but it is important for personal growth and to experience fulfilment in your dreams. Know your boundaries and do what makes you feel happy and good.
