Healthy Breakfast Food You Need To Try

Breakfast is a prime source of energy and necessary nutrients. After a good night’s sleep, replenish your body with foods that will nurture your body.

However, if you are trying to watch what you put into your body, typical breakfast foods can be really tricky to manage.

Most breakfast foods are packed with sugar and calories. From waffles to cereal, there is seemingly no escaping it. However, these meals are sure to change that.

Not only are these foods delicious, but they are also good for you. You can’t go wrong with that!

1. Fruit And Yogurt Smoothie

Waking up on a hot summer day with a nice cold, refreshing smoothie sounds luxurious. This recipe is not only super easy, but simple as could be.

In a blender, mix frozen fruit, greek yogurt, and your choice of liquid. Some yummy options include orange juice, almond milk, or coconut water. Blend together until the smoothie reaches the consistency that you desire.

If your mornings are usually quite busy, make this overnight and store it in the freezer. When you wake up, take it out to thaw while you get ready.

2. Chocolate Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

This is for all of the chocoholics out there. Who knew indulging could taste so good and be so guilt-free?

This is a bowl packed with protein from the quinoa yet just the right amount of sweetness from the dark chocolate. Mixed with raspberries, bananas, and blueberries this dessert-like breakfast food is sure to pack a punch!

3. Egg Breakfast Muffin

If you are an egg lover, then this is for sure the breakfast for you.

This is a great breakfast for all of you who are constantly on the move. You can make these prior to your morning and can store them for a week! All you need to do is grab one and go!

In a bowl, mix together eggs with spinach, bacon, and cheese. Add salt and paper. Pour into muffin tins and bake for 15-20 minutes.

4. PB&J Waffle Sandwich

This is another simple recipe, but easy on your health!

Pop in two whole-grain toaster waffles. Use about a tablespoon of nut butter of your choosing to coat one waffle. On the other, use the jam flavoring that you enjoy. You can add strawberries as well either on the side or to the sandwich.

5. Apple Bites

These are perfect for breakfast or snacks throughout the day.

Cut your preferred kind of apple into wedges. Spread nut butter on top of each piece. Sprinkle a dash of cinnamon. On top of that, you can add a layer of oats or granola – whichever you prefer to use. To finish, drizzle a bit of chocolate.

If you want, you can stick these in the fridge to allow the chocolate to harden, or you can eat them as they are.

6. Blueberry & Almond Overnight Oats

In a bowl, add together oats, chia seeds, maple syrup, blueberries, vanilla, and almond milk. Cover and let these ingredients mingle together overnight.

In the morning, top your delicious oats with a sliced banana, almonds, and a handful of blueberries.

You can warm up your overnight oats if you want to enjoy something warm, or you could keep them cold for a more refreshing meal. The choice is yours.
