It is a big decision to decide to cut your hair short after having long hair for so many years. As someone who cut their hair short, I understand the struggle to having to adjust to a new look. When you first cut your hair, it is hard to know how to style it in different ways. Hopefully, these hairstyle suggestions will help expand your knowledge on how to work with your new hair!

1. Beach Waves

If you have a bob haircut, beach waves l0ok amazing and it’s pretty simple to do. All you need is a small curling wand or if you are able to curl with a flat iron that will work too. You don’t need to make the curls perfect; just let them be loose! So don’t worry if you miss some strands of hair. It’s a great every day look since it is so easy to do!

2. Tw0 Front Baby Braids

These are also pretty manageable to do in your hair if you can braid! Just take the front strands of your hair and braid in back and either bobby pin it down or take a small rubber band to secure it. These would also look so pretty with some beach waves!

You don’t need long hair to do a top knot! Top knots are a great hairstyle to get your hair out of your face in a trendy look. Use bobby pins to pin the top portion of your hair into a knot. It will look loose and a little bit messy but fashionable!
