5 Great Ways To Take Advantage Of Fall Weather

Admittedly, sitting on the couch all day and doing nothing is definitely a treat sometimes, but don’t let yourself get caught up in that kind of lifestyle during Fall. Fall is not a time to be happily lazy (save it for winter, folks!), but it is a time to be outside and taking advantage of the crisp, cool weather. It’s time to shut off your TV and take advantage of the fall Weather. Here are five great ways to do it!

1. Hiking

Because it’s not too hot or too cold, fall is the absolute perfect time to hit the trails. It doesn’t matter if you’re not the most outdoorsy, active, or athletic, hiking can be fun for everyone if you just keep to your speed and level. Nothing wrong with taking it easy, right? And it’s a great way to take advantage of the picturesque views and vibrant colors that fall has to offer us.

Don’t let the season slip away by sitting inside… get out there! And don’t forget to take a picture of the sunset!

2. Driving Around

Driving around and blasting music with your friends is fun any season of the year, but it’s obviously best during fall. If hiking seriously isn’t your thing, this is the perfect way to still enjoy the views, colors, and general vibe of fall weather without getting too active. All you have to do is start your engine and take the most scenic route you know.

So, throw on your happiest playlist and hit the road because fall is here! Oh, and don’t forget to roll the windows down!

3. Apple Picking

Apple picking is so much fun and it’s an activity that is unique to fall, so it’s important to take advantage of that. It’s also a great way to take advantage of fall weather without getting too active or sweaty because all you have to do is stroll around and pick the apples you want. Also, it should go without saying that any activity that involves food is fantastic.

After you go apple picking, you can bring your goodies home and, with your friends, you’re highly encouraged to cover them in caramel for a delicious snack. And, let’s not forget that apple picking also makes a great photo opportunity.

4. Tailgating

If it isn’t already obvious, tailgating is a great way to take advantage of the fall weather and football season! Everyone loves rooting for their own team in general, but people like it even more when it’s outside. Whether it be actually outside of a stadium, at a backyard BBQ, or at a rooftop bar, there’s ample ways and places to tailgate and capitalize on the fall weather at the same time. Yes, baby: we’re talking fresh air and football!

5. Showing Off Cute Sweaters

As far as fashion and style go, fall is the perfect time to show off all the cute sweaters you have in your closet or even buy some new ones. There’s nothing better than being cozy and cute at the same time, but it’s not something that we can do year-round. Make sure that you’re bringing your A-game when it comes to sweaters this fall season because if you don’t, you’re going to have to wait another calendar year to get snug and adorable.

As you can see, there’s plenty of ways to take advantage of Fall weather, and it’s time to get moving. There’s nothing worse than looking back at a few months and thinking ‘man, I wish I did *blank *. Fall is an amazing time of year to be outside, so don’t let it go to waste!
