If you want a more laid back long weekend, Seaside is the place for you. Located on the panhandle of Florida, you’ll have access to some of the most beautiful beaches in America. Because it’s on the Gulf of Mexico, the sand is white and silky and the ocean is a beautiful turquoise. While there aren’t a ton of touristy things to do, there are lots of restaurants and bars to hit when you want to go out for the night. The real reason to come here is for the beach so you’ll probably spend the whole time there!

This is the home of country music, so if that’s your thing this is a must visit spot for a long weekend. Even if you’re not a big country fan, experiencing the culture of this city is super fun. This is a great place to go if you want to party. With tons of bars, you’ll have a great time going out and bar hopping. This is the perfect spot just to spend a few days so you’ll have a great and memorable time with your crew!
4. Washington DC
Free museums! If this doesn’t convince you to go there, the nightlife definitely will. Washington DC is a vibrant city full of fun restaurants and bars to hit up. With all the monuments and famous government buildings, you have unlimited things to do. You can create a tour plan for yourself or buy tickets to go on one. There’s a lot to see so you’ll have to choose what’s most important to you, but hey, you can always come back if you love it!

Chicago is such a cool city and you’ll think so too when you visit. Make sure to go in the warmer months if you can’t handle the cold! There are many outdoor sights, like millennial park but walking the city streets is just as fun. There are also so many amazing museums and all the trendy food you could ever want. Chicago isn’t that expensive, which makes it a great place to visit during your next long weekend with your friends!

If you’re looking for a beach getaway for the weekend, Ft. Lauderdale is perfect for you! With plenty of beachside bars, you’ll never run out of places to post up at. The airport is super easy to navigate so getting there is simple. In addition to beautiful beaches, Las Olas is an amazing promenade to walk down. If you somehow get tired of the beach, there’s an outlet mall close by so you can shop until you drop!
7. Charleston, South Carolina
This town is full of history and taking tours of the city is so fun. There are plenty beautiful sites to take pictures by so you and your crew can take the perfect instagram pictures. Not only are there tours during the day, but there are also ghost tours at night if you want to experience something spooky. Charleston is also a great place to go if you want to experience classic Southern food. It’s not a super expensive trip so visit here during your next long weekend!
8. Boston, Massachusetts
Boston is so fun for so many reasons. There are lots of historical sights to see but exploring the vibe of the city is just as entertaining. If you like shopping, be sure to walk down Newbury street. There are plenty of guided tours that you can take like the duck boat tour which takes you on the river to show you a spectacular view of Boston. While the popular thing to do is to go here for Mardi Gras, it’s so much better to go there for a long weekend when there isn’t all that craziness. When there’s less tourists you’ll really be able to see the sights. New Orleans is full of history so you won’t run out of things to do here and it’s a great place for food too! 10. San Diego, California
This is one of the more expensive trips to take, but it’s totally worth it! San Diego is beautiful and there’s so much to do. There are so many interesting and trendy places to eat so it’s perfect if you’re a foodie. The ocean view is breathtaking so it’s worth it to go just for that. San Diego has a great nightlife scene to explore after you’re done with the beach. It’s a great place to go with friends or for a romantic weekend away from home!
