Graduation Party Ideas Your Grad Will Love For 2019
Hardly anything is more memorable in one’s life than their graduation party, so having some great graduation party ideas under your belt certainly comes in handy for either organising your own, or helping a friend organise one of the most important days of their lives. Here are some graduation party ideas your grad will love for the year 2019!
1. Choose A Theme
Themed parties are always the coolest! Decor decisions are also much easier to make once specific themes have been set.
2. Create A Photo Wreath
What better way to reminisce on a graduate’s journey and see how far they’e come than a photo wreath?
Get creative with it too! It doesn’t have to be in the form of a wreath specifically, but even if you go for a scrapbook style, make sure to get funky with it!
3. Food In The Shape Of Graduation Caps
Show off your creative baking skills by decorating to the graduation theme!
Graduation cap cupcakes are a fantastic place to start, and can be extended to cookies, or even a cake!
4. “Oh, The Places You’ll Go!”
This is by far one of my favourite graduation party ideas (because well, Dr. Suess… How could you not love it!). Not only is this an extremely adorable party theme, but also inspiring to the recent graduate(s).
This can be presented as a book for display or as a gift, or can be turned into an entire party theme!
5. Have A Photo Booth
Graduation parties aren’t just to reminisce on old memories, but to make new ones!
Ensure to book a booth with costume pieces to make for more photo fun.
6. Get Creative With The Beverage Station
While punch is a classic party go-to that never disappoints, be sure to add other beverages for variety!
Graduation themes should also be carried through at the beverage station. “Future so bright you gotta wear shades” sunglasses to hand out with drinks is a fantastic idea!
7. “Taco ‘Bout A Future” Balloons
This balloon set especially comes in handy if you’re using Mexican food as appetisers!
Add some margaritas to the beverage station, and you’ve got yourself a banquete!
8. The Keys To Success
Instead of the traditional idea of a guestbook, stick to the bright future-esque theme by creating a ‘keys to success’ board.
By hammering nails into a wooden board, you can create your own key peg board, where guests can then attach words of encouragement and wisdom to keys and hang them up for the graduate(s) to view after the celebrations.
Super cute!
9. ‘Class Ring’ Pops
No one ever outgrows their ring pop stage; not even recent graduates! Add some nostalgic fun to the party with ring pops.
10. Confetti Balloons
What better way to send off the graduate(s) at the end of the day/night than to shower them in confetti with a huge pop?
May the next step into their lives begin with a bang!
