College students thrive off ramen noodles when money gets tight or for quick meals. Luckily, ramen packets can be cooked in more ways than you can imagine. Make your ramen taste better with these 8 savory recipes!
1. Ramen Hamburger
Take bunning your hamburger to the next level by making ramen noodle hamburger buns! Spice up your bun style by cooking the seasoning into the noodles or use the ramen packet seasoning for your burgers.
Ingredients:
1 package of beef noodles (or any flavor you’d like)
1 pound of ground beef
Cavender’s all-purpose Greek seasoning (optional)
Chopped onions
Sriracha chili sauce (optional)
Vegetable oil (any oil for greasing)
Muffin pan
Pan
Plate
Directions:
Set oven to 35o degrees.
Cook the noodles (Do not add the seasoning!)
Drain the noodle water into the sink
Grease the muffin pan cups
Separate noodles into the muffin pan cups
Place the muffin pan into the oven
Cook for 20 minutes (or until golden brown)
While these cook, grab your ground beef
Mix ramen noodle packet seasoning into your ground beef (throw Cavender’s all-purpose Greek seasoning into the mix for an extra kick of flavor)
Mix in the chopped onions
Separate the ground beef into round balls
Smash ground beef balls into thin patties
Grab your pan and cook your patties how you prefer them
Once cooked, remove the paddies onto a plate
Once ramen patty buns are finished remove them from the oven
Combine your hamburgers onto the ramen buns, add your chili sauce (and other condiments if you’d like)
Eat and enjoy your new burger!
2. To-Go Ramen
Sometimes, sitting and chowing on ramen doesn’t seem possible because of a busy schedule. We’ve all been there with work, school, events, business meetings, and just extended responsibilities. To-go ramen helps keep up with that busy life of yours. Take a jar or Tupperware and you’re good to go! Think of it as meal prep, but ramen noodle style.
Ingredients:
1 package of your favorite ramen noodles
Diced carrots
Diced onions
Cut spinach
Garlic powder
2 eggs
Vegetable broth
Measuring cups
Pan
1 jar or Tupperware
Directions
Cook your ramen noodles, drain the water in the sink after cooked
Boil your two eggs, once cooked and peeled dice your eggs
Add the diced onions to the jar
Dash 1 tablespoon of garlic powder on top
Pour noodles into the jar
Throw the diced carrots on top of the noodles
Sprinkle the cut spinach over the diced carrots
Place your diced eggs on top of the carrots
Pour 4 cups of vegetable broth to the jar (pour less broth if the jar is smaller)
Seal the jar and shake it a bit
Refrigerate until ready to eat, for best results microwave before eating
3. Ramen Pizza
If you’re “Guilty as charged” for loving new pizza crust then this one’s for you. Turns out, ramen noodles can serve as a replacement for pizza crust! It sounds odd, but as many say “Don’t knock it till you try it.” So skip making or buying dough and replace it with ramen noodles.
Ingredients:
2 packages of ramen noodles (flavor doesn’t matter)
1 bag of pepperoni slices
Any pizza toppings you prefer (onions, mushrooms, olives)
Pizza/spaghetti sauce
Mozzarella cheese
Cooking oil
Large skillet
Medium pan
Large bowl
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Cook ramen noodles in the pan, once cooked drain the water into the sink and pour ramen into the bowl
Add 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese to the bowl and mix
Pour the 2 tablespoons of oil into the skillet and pour the noodle and mozzarella mixture on top
Smash noodles down and spread them across the skillets till it covers the bottom
Heat on medium to high
Let the noodles simmer until golden brown on the bottom, once golden brown, remove skillet from heat.
Pour the sauce on top of the golden brown noodle crust
Sprinkle as much cheese as your heart desires and add your pepperonis (add other toppings if you wish)
Place the skillet in the oven to cook for 20 minutes
Once cooked remove from oven and cut up your pizza

4. Breakfast Ramen

1 egg
Bacon bits
Salt and pepper
Shredded cheese

Skillet
Normal eating bowl
Directions:
Cook ramen noodles in the pan, once cooked drain the water into the sink and pour ramen into the bowl
Pour flavoring into the ramen noodles
In the skillet, cook your egg (you can make them scrabbled if you’d like)
Once finished, place the egg on top of your ramen

3 packages of ramen noodles (flavor doesn’t matter)
1 package of extra sharp cheddar cheese
1 package of shredded cheddar cheese
Cornstarch
Unsweetened vanilla cashew milk
Big bowl
Spoon
2 Medium or large pan
Directions:
Pour the 2 packages of shredded cheese into the big bowl
Add two tablespoons of cornstarch
Mix shredded cheese and cornstarch
Turn stove on medium heat
Place the pan onto the stovetop
Pour 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla cashew milk into the pan
Slowly add in the shredded cheese and cornstarch mixture, stir until creamy
Cook ramen noodles in the other pan once cooked, drain the water into the sink and pour ramen into the other pan with the creamy mixture

2 packages of chicken ramen noodles
Diced green onions
Bag of chopped almonds
Bag of raisins
1 bag of cabbage or a whole cabbage
Soy sauce
Sugar
Rice Vinegar
Olive oil
Measuring cup
Medium-sized bowl
Small bowl
Pan
Directions:
Combine and mix a 1/2 cup of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, a 1/2 cup of sugar, and a 1/2 cup of vinegar into the small bowl
