Glamorous Hairstyles To Pull Off RN
“The right hairstyle can make a plain woman beautiful, and a beautiful woman unforgettable.” – Sophia Loren
Do you love to change up your hair every once in a while? Do you grow it long in the winter, only to have your hairdresser give you a short bob in the summer? What about the color of your hair? Do you transition to lighter or darker shades often because you love the look of both? Or maybe you’re like me and you don’t change up your often, and if you are, I’m here to tell you that it’s more than okay to not want to do anything to your hair. You’re reading the words of someone who loves her light brown locks and wearing her hair in messy bun almost daily. Believe me, you are not alone. But the truth is, changing up your hairstyle can be good. Not only can it be a confidence boost, but your hairstyle can be a representation of a change in your life and it can tell a story of who we are and our style. Plus, the style options are endless. If you’re wanting to change up your hair, but are not sure which trends are in, don’t worry. I have here some of the most Glamorous Hairstyles to pull off right now.
The Spiky Bun
Out of all of the Glamorous Hairstyles that will be mentioned in this article, one of my favorites is the spiky bun. I’m a hairup kind of gal and 90% of the time you will always find me with my hair up in a messy bun. Have I ever heard of the spiky bun? No. But you will most certainly find me wearing it tomorrow and possibly the next. It’s easy to wear and looks chic which is my favorite type of hairstyle. Let’s be real. We’re all busy this summer, and whether it’s lounging by the pool hanging with friends or if you’re like me and have a busy schedule with work, grad school and internships, I need a hairstyle that is easy and doesn’t take hours to complete. I also didn’t know that its BACK in style as it was first a trend in the 90s. You have probably seen actresses like Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore, Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner all rock the spiky bun and so can you.
Simply pull your hair back into a pony tale and twist your hair. Put it into a bun, but make sure to leave some loose ends which make up the “spiky” part. Secure it with a hair tie and voila!

The Pammy Updo
Have you ever heard of the Pamela Anderson, “Pammy Updo” that has been apparently trending on TikTok? #pamelaandersonhair #pammyupdo — People have been trying to recreate her beautiful hairstyle that she rocked in the 90s and I am here for it because it would be wrong to not include it on this list of Glamorous Hairstyles. It’s simply your hair stacked high on your head with loose ends coming down on both sides of your face, all with lots of volume to give it the boost it needs. If you don’t like a messy hairstyle, then this isn’t the look for you, but if it is, then it might be perfect for you. It’s a messy hairstyle that is comfortable and relaxing, but also sexy all at the same time.

French Braids
I love french braids and so should you. This hairstyle first came about in the late 1800s and it’s been popular ever since. If you’re having a bad hair day and don’t have the time to straighten it or fancy it up, then the french braid is the way to go and it will make it so that you’re having a great hair day instead. Plus, they’re easy and if you’re having a difficult time learning how to do them yourself, there is a high possibility that some of your friends or family know how to do them for you.
When I played sports in high school, there was one girl who would braid everyone’s hair before softball and basketball games. If you have a girl like this on your team, then you know that it takes time. Eventually I started to feel bad because she would have 11 other girls lined up to have their hair braided that I wanted to learn how to do it myself and trust me, it takes A LOT of practice, but it’s SO worth it. Watch youtube videos over and over again, practice on your friends and soon you will have it down just like me. I love the french braid because it can make your hair look put together, especially if you don’t like to fancy it up, plus it’s cute look that anyone can rock.

Space Buns
One of the most Glamorous Hairstyles that are in is the space bun. Yes, you read that correctly. While you might think that space buns are a festival only hairstyle, you’re wrong. You’re seeing actresses, models and influencers rock this hairstyle on a daily basis because it’s a fun and edgy look that’s easy to put together. Whether you have short hair or long hair that is thick or thin, it doesn’t matter because you too can wear this trending hairstyle look. All you have to do is part your hair down the middle, gather each side into a ponytail and wrap into a bun. Feel free to add accessories like hair clips or scrunchies, too.

Bubble Braid
Bubble braids are in and it’s one of the most popular Glamorous Hairstyles in 2022. Do you love braids, yet want to add a twist to them just for fun? If so, this look is for you. I’ve personally never tried out this hairstyle, but I have many friends who wear it on the weekends when they’re out and about. It’s easy and I think that’s what we all want when doing our hair on a busy morning. If you want this look then I have it for you with a few easy steps:
- Brush your hair and make sure it’s free of any knots or tangles.
- Put it in a ponytail. Many websites say to put it in a low ponytail, but like I’ve said, many of my friends wear this and wear it high, so it’s completely up to you.
- When your hair is tied up, about an inch or two down, put another hair tie in. Don’t want your hairties to be shown? Use clear ones or use one that is the color of your hair. Want to add some color? Use color hair ties instead. It’s whatever your comfortable with!
- Continue down your hair every 1 – 2 inches with hair ties until your finished and voila! It’s that easy.
