1. Tuition is expensive. The city is expensive. Financial distress is a disastrous cycle.

Venmo will become your best friend. It’s basically a Fordham University student.

2. The elevators get stuck…a lot.

Plan at least 5-10 minutes just to wait for the elevator, and hope they don’t break down on a weekday.

3. Nothing is more terrifying than receiving a noise complaint during quiet hours.

Play it safe to avoid being fined, not having your ID for a day, and a meeting with the RD.

4. There’s a good probability you’ll fall asleep during an 8:30 am class.

Don’t worry, everyone else is asleep in there with you.

5. No one goes out while it’s snowing unless absolutely necessary. The tunnels are a blessing.

It’s cold , wet and windy. Who wants to walk around in that?

6. We’ve all ended up on floor 12’s dance lounge at one point in the semester.

Always remember to give the room next door a little thank-you note for not complaining about the music or your dance moves.
