10 Fun Meals To Make With Your Roommates

College can be a whirlwind of classes, homework, and extracurriculars, but every once in a while, it’s just nice to slow things down. While you might not have the time to do a lot of cooking for yourself, why not bond with your roommates over a fun meal you made together? There’s nothing more fun than hanging out with friends and cooking up something delicious. This list of fun meals to make with your roommates will have your mouth watering and leave you asking your roommates when they’re free for dinner next!

1. Pizza

This first meal might be an obvious choice, but what could be more fun than making your own pizzas from scratch? If you’ve got some time on your hands, make the dough ahead of time or grab some pre-made dough from the grocery store. Everyone can roll out their own pizza, then load on the sauce, cheese, and toppings to their liking. With this meal, you can really get your hands dirty all while spending some quality time with your roommates!

2. Crunchwraps

This classic Tacobell delicacy could soon be born into your kitchen with the help of your roommates! Sure, you could just grab a crunchwrap at the drive-thru, but what fun is that? Making these with your roommates could be a fun task that none of you would ever think of doing before. Plus, making a crunchwrap is a lot simpler than you may think and doesn’t require any crazy ingredients that will break your budget. Each person can make their crunchwrap to their preference, but together, you’ll have a lot of fun!

3. Homemade Pretzels

While our next food isn’t exactly a meal, it sure would be fun to make these with roommates or friends. It might be a bit of a challenge at first, but sometimes difficulties while cooking can make some of the funniest moments and greatest memories, especially when you’re cooking with people you care about. You can each help make the dough, then separate it into sections that you can all work on separately. You’ll have tons of fun twisting and turning these delicious pretzels into their shapes, and when you’re all done, you’ll have a delicious treat to enjoy!

4. Mini Chicken Pot Pies

Everything is more fun when its mini. And when you have some good friends added to that, it’s infinitely more fun. These cute mini chicken pot pies are not only really simple to make, but you’ll have a blast working as a team making these with your roommates or friends! You can make these totally from scratch if you’ve got some time and energy, or just grab pre-made biscuits and create your pot pies. Use a cupcake pan to bake, then go to town with these!

5. French Toast Bites

Just like I said with the previous food, mini is fun! So, why make normal-sized french toast, when you can make them mini! These yummy french toast bites are a perfect breakfast or brunch treat that you or your roommates won’t be able to get enough of. Making this dish with other people could be lots of fun, especially if you have each person assigned to a specific task regarding the french toast bites. One person can be cutting up the slices of bread, one can be dipping the bites in the batter, one can be cooking, and one can be tossing them in cinnamon sugar. Just have fun with these!

6. Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese

You might not have even known you needed this until right now, but that’s okay because I have you covered. If you’re a big fan of rich, ooey-gooey foods like I am, then this meal is something you must try, especially with friends or roommates.
