Fun Makeup Looks You Need To Try For The Fourth Of July

Holidays are the perfect excuse to try something bold and fun with your makeup. With the Fourth of July quickly approaching, you have yet another chance to experiment with your look. These ideas will serve as the perfect makeup-inspo for the upcoming celebration.

1. Star Stamp Eyeliner

If you aren’t into bold colors, this is a great option for you! A star stamp is a simple way to spice up your makeup for Independence Day. All you need is liquid liner, or an eyeliner stamp. Milk Makeup makes a great one for $12.

If you are opting to use a liquid liner, you can free-hand the star. You can place it wherever you want on your face. A popular spot is underneath the eyes, as seen on Perrie Edwards in the ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ music video. If you need to clean up the edges, use a concealer on a small detail brush to do so.

The easier way to go about this is to purchase a star stamp. All you do is stamp it where you want it!

This is a cute and unique twist to your makeup, and patriotic enough for the 4th.

2. Blue Eyeliner, Red Lip

To get this patriotic look, you can use a blue eyeliner or a blue eyeshadow. Choose a vibrant red lipstick to really be festive!

For your eyeliner, create a thick wing to make sure that your colored liner is visible. If you are using eyeshadow, pick up a blue shade on an angled brush. Pack the color against the lash line until you reach the desired pigmentation. Wing out at the ends.

A great blue eyeliner you could purchase for this look would be the NYX Vivid Bright Liner in Sapphire.

Line your lips with a red lip liner. This will ensure that your red lipstick application is clean. Fill in with your desired lipstick brand and shade.

Ta-dah! You are ready to celebrate! Your makeup look is sure to get you compliments and get you in the mood for the day ahead.

3. Red, White, And Blue Lid

Not the best at eyeshadow? No worries. This one is simple and quick.

You will need a red, white, and blue shadow (obviously).

Pack a blue shade onto the inner third of your eye. Blend out the edges. Pack a white shadow in the middle of the lid. Be sure to blend it into the blue. The last thing you want is a harsh line between the two colors. On the final third of the eye, pack a red shade. Again, be sure to blend the red and white shade together. Make sure the edge of your red eyeshadow is blended out by the inner corner, again to avoid any harsh lines to the look.

On the bottom lash line, do the reverse order. Pack the red into the inner corner, blend into a white, and finish off on the outer third with the blue shadow.

Finish off with eyeliner to bring the look together.

4. Cut Crease

This is a makeup look that I would recommend to those who are more experienced with eyeshadow.

Start by blending a red into the crease. Pack on the color until you reach your desired pigmentation. Be sure to blend the edges so it looks seamless.

Cut your crease with any concealer of your choice. On your lid space, lay down a glitter glue. I really like the NYX Glitter Primer. It works perfectly and is only $5. Apply a silver glitter. Again, I really like the glitters from NYX. They are cheap, but work well and are beautiful on the eye. They have never given me any problems.

Once your glitter has dried down, line your eye with a blue eyeliner. Apply falsies if you want a more dramatic look.

Which look will you be wearing? Let us know!
