The greatest part of attending Northeastern University is having the vibrant city of Boston right at your fingertips, but living on a college student’s budget can be limiting. Here are some things to do around Northeastern University that are fun and free of cost!

1. Refresh your knowledge of American history by walking along The Freedom Trail.

Okay so if you’re a fifth year you’d probably be rolling your eyes at this one, but it is a must-do for any newbies to Boston! Each location along The Freedom Trail offers a chance to see American history, my personal favorite being Paul Revere’s house in the North End. The Freedom trail is an overall great way to get to know the city.
