If you're looking to get out of your apartment or dorm, then these are the best things to do around Kent State University that are completely free! Not to mention, you'll have fun doing them!

Being in college is a constant struggle no matter what school you go to. You wake up every day to an email from PNC reminding you that you have a total $3.65 in your bank account. Now fast forward to Friday night, you and your friends can’t decide what to do because your all balling on the same budget. You’re sick of going to the frats but you can’t order anymore chipotle off of Tapingo because you can probably only afford the delivery fee. Or maybe you are just trying to switch things up. Either way here are 10 free things to do around Kent State University. We pay a ton to go to school, so the least the university can do is provide free activities to do on campus year round. And of course all of these below involve free food.

1. The Glow Games –

2 words. FREE CHICK-FIL-A. Who doesn’t want to run around all night with their friends eating free chick-fil-a and playing laser tag, glow bowling and ton of glow in the dark related games.

These parties are known for their huge silent disco’s. There is a different theme every year that takes place in the Rec center. This past year was 80’s which included of course a silent disco, a roller rink , dance classes , tons of prizes and of course free food.
