To save money just buy vanilla frosting and add a few drops of food coloring. Feel free to add some star designs and get a little creative with it.

Cake pops are a little tricky to make so don’t feel ashamed if you have to toss a couple of practice pops. Regardless they’re super cute and sure to be a huge hit at any party. It involves baking a funfetti cake, crumbling it into small pieces, and then using a cookie dough scooper to create the ball shape. In order to keep the cake pop from crumbling, add a small spoonful of frosting to each scoop – gently compact the cake and you’ve made a pop. Bake again, add the sticks and dip each pop into a candy melt mixture. You can add sprinkles, food coloring, or designs.
