There is nothing worse than going about your day and realizing it looks like you just dump a bucket on oil on your face. Some people want that dewy look but girls, if you have oily skin, you always feel the need to wipe away the lingering grease on your cheeks. No matter how much powder we use to set it, the oil seeps through.
Remember that if your skin is oily or dry or acne-prone, your skincare routine matters the most. What you put on your skin and what you put into your body will affect how your skin will be. Going through foundation and powder after foundation and powder can be expensive. It’s hard to trust what exactly works and what doesn’t. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. Keep reading and give these foundations for oily skin a try!

OK, Bare Minerals is one of the oldest makeup brands and it still slays. Their mineral powder foundation is amazing and I’ve used it since I was a little girl. If you are below the age of 14, this powder foundation is perfect for you. It’s lightweight and the coverage isn’t going to look caked on. It has a natural finish that looks beautiful on the skin. Since this is a powder, it doesn’t need to be set with another powder after so it’s a two-in-one. Your skin’s oils won’t be coming through this powder. It can be purchased at Sephora or Ulta.

The drugstore makeup has stepped up and I think we can all agree on that. If you don’t want to spend $30 plus for a foundation, then try out the Maybelline Fit Me! foundation. Dependent on your skin type you can get either a dewy finish or the Matte & Poreless. The Matte & Poreless is amazing for those who suffer from oily skin. The coverage can be built up and right on the bottle, it says for normal to oily skin. For an $8 foundation, this one is the way to go. It doesn’t look cakey and oils don’t seep through the layer of foundation. This can be purchased at any drug store, Target or Ulta.

We all know Clinique has an amazing makeup line and their skincare line is incredible. I think companies who have both know what their customers are looking for so when they released this foundation I knew it was going to be good. This foundation has 56 different shades. First off, that’s just incredible. Also, it’s great for oily skin. It feels lightweight on the skin and doesn’t feel like it’s clogging your pores. It can be purchased at Sephora or Ulta.
