10 Amazing Food Places In Panorama City You Need To Try

For those who have lived in or know of Panorama City, it can seem small, overcrowded, and uneventful. If you take the time to explore, it can actually be a lively neighborhood with great places to eat. With a large diverse  population, this small hub of the San Fernando Valley is a gastronomic dream. If you find yourself in town, here are 10 amazing food places in Panorama City.

1. Ayce Gogi Korean BBQ

With  modern, sleek, black and silver decor, this place will have you feeling like a hip foodie. The best part about having Korean BBQ is that you get to cook your own food. This might sound like a drag because the point of going out to dinner is not to cook, but something about cooking while at a restaurant that gives you a real sense of accomplishment. Everything from the short rib to the brisket is delicious. And you get ice cream at the end to cleanse your palette!

2. Ay Papa Que Rico

You have to try the roasted mesquite chicken here! It is incredibly flavorful and one of their signature flavors. Anything “fire=grilled” here is a must try! The menu is filled with Cuban inspired flavors and dishes. The Cuban sandwich is another must-try dish that really exemplifies the Cuban flavors that this local spot is known for serving. Que Rico!

3. Sakura Sushi

For another exploration of Asian cuisine, head over to Sakura Sushi and order a bento box. With a large selection of sushi and appetizers, there is something here for everyone. Try the vegetable tempura and the Mars roll with tempura shrimp, crab, maguro, and avocado. This place is delicious, convenient, and affordable whether you are stopping by for a quick bite or a sit-down dinner.

4. Ras Noodle

For some delicious Thai cuisine, come to Ras Noodle. A small little hole in the wall in the middle of a strip mall, this place is filled with delicious flavors. Try the pad thai and the crispy pork for a delectable dinner. If you want to add a little sweetness to your meal, be sure to pair your entrees with a iced Thai tea. This is one of the best food places in Panorama City!

5. La Sirenita

If you want a meal with some live entertainment, definitely stop by La Sirenita. A live mariachi band serenades diners as they feast on some out-of-this- world seafood! From shrimp cocktails, to ceviche tostadas, plus micheladas and grilled fish, this is the place to be for some great cuisine. The colorful decor and live music will make it so you never want to leave! This is one of the best food places in Panorama City!

6. El Gallo Giro

Do you want a great restaurant that doubles as a bakery with authentic Mexican breads and baked goods? Then this is the place for you. I highly recommend the Cuban tortas and aguas frescas for starters and then for dessert you could indulge in the variety of baked goods made fresh daily on the premises. This place should definitely be on your list next time you’re in town!

7. Taqueria Tres Hermanos

This is a great restaurant for hanging out with friends or an outing with the family. It is a more casual restaurant where you can order a la carte. So if you want to stop by for lunch or take something to go. Either way, it is a great place to get your favorite dishes like enchiladas and huevos rancheros.

For some dessert, stop by this colorful shop. La Michoacana is a large chain of ice cream parlors in Mexico and we have one all our own right here! There is a variety of fresh fruit paletas as well as cups of fresh fruit and esquites which are grains of corn served in a cup and prepared with salt, mayonnaise, chili powder, and lime juice. It’s an essential in this part of town.
